Here’s a first official look at Maudie, the upcoming biography romantic drama movie directed by Aisling Walsh based on a script by Sherry White and starring Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawke:

Plot snopsis:
“An arthritic Nova Scotia woman works as a housekeeper while she hones her skills as an artist and eventually becomes a beloved figure in the community.”

Besides Sally Hawkins and Ethan Hawke, the cast also includes Kate Ross, Zachary Bennett, Gabrielle Rose, and Kari Matchett.

The film has yet to get an official release date.
