This new preview clip of Midnight Special, the upcoming adventure drama science-fiction movie directed by Jeff Nichols, features Kirsten Dunst and Joel Edgerton:

“Roy (Michael Shannon) is a father desperate to protect his uniquely gifted, eight-year-old son Alton (Jaeden Lieberher). Joined by his accomplice, Lucas (Joel Edgerton), and his ex-wife, Sarah (Kirsten Dunst), this group must race to get Alton to a secret location all while being hunted by an extreme religious sect led by Calvin Meyer (Sam Shepard) and a government task force headed up by Paul Sevier (Adam Driver). It is a full-on chase, the outcome of which could bring about a world-changing event.”
If they really want to protect the kid they should ask for help instead of running away… Going public about the whole thing would be more effective!
The will be released in theaters on March 18, 2016.
