Here below the first official pictures of Morris from America, the upcoming romantic drama movie written and directed by Chad Hartigan and starring Markees Christmas, Craig Robinson, Carla Juri, Lina Keller, Jakub Gierszal, and Levin Henning:
“The film revolves around a 13-year-old African-American boy named Morris and the relationship he has with his father, Curtis, during the transitional period of adolescence. Complicating matters, they are new residents of Heidelberg, Germany—a city of rich history but little diversity. Morris falls in love with a local German girl named Katrin, and his tumultuous connection with her takes him on a journey that ends in self-discovery and a new dynamic to his relationship with Curtis.”
The film may show Germany as rather unwelcoming for foreigners who stand out… But well, in the light of the recent events in Germany with migrants attacking girls one could understand… And it’s likely to get worse now. But if you do abide by the law, respect the local culture and make efforts to integrate it should be fine. So there’s hope for Morris!
