The Road Movie
Here’s the theatrical poster of the Road, the post-apocalyptic movie directed by John Hillcoat and starring Viggo Mortensen
in a moment the world changed forever.
Based on the Pulitzer prize winning novel by Cormac McCarthy
Author of “No Country Fo Old Men”
Plot:
“A father and his son walk alone through a post-apocalyptic America. Nothing moves in the ravaged landscape and it’s cold enough to crack stones. Hoping to escape the endless winter, they head south towards the coast, not knowing what awaits them there. Along the way they encounter refugees, organized militants, and must avoid gangs of lawless killers. With the exception of a pistol with 2 bullets, the clothes on their back and a cart of scavenged food, they have nothing. All alone, the boys must struggle to survive in a world no longer capable of sustaining life.”
Nice poster, but too many colors to be faithful to the bleak vision of Cormac McCarthy… But I guess it’s easier to sell than a dark screen filled with smog.

It's Complicated Movie
Take a look to the movie poster of It’s Complicated, an upcoming comedy starring Alec Baldwin, Meryl Streep and Steve Martin:
Plot:
“Jane (Meryl Streep) is a self-reliant divorcee who owns a successful bakery in Santa Barbara. After ten years of separation and 3 grown children, she finally achieves a good relationship with her ex-husband Jake (Alec Baldwin), a successful attorney who has remarried the much-younger Agness (Lake Bell). Jane and Jake meet when out of town and attending the college graduation of their son. A dinner together develops into an affair, making Jane ‘the other woman’. Complicating matters is Adam (Steve Martin), an architect hired to remodel Jane’s kitchen, who is himself healing from a divorce of his own, and who has begun to fall in love with Jane. He realizes he is now part of a very strange love triangle.”
Wisdom may come with maturity, but when love gets involved, it’s never easy and things to be complicated.
The movie It’s Complicated is written and directed by Nancy Meyers (who once brought us the romantic comedy movie The Holidday, film starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black).

“The story follows what happens when God loses faith in humanity and sends his legion of angels to wipe out the human race for the second time. Mankind’s only hope lies in a group of misfits holed up in a diner in the desert who are aided by the archangel Michael”
If God is trying to wipe out Mankind, does Mankind have to embrace atheism to kill God?
