Here’s the official trailer of CHi-Raq (yep, the film’s title is a portmanteau of “Chicago” and “Iraq), the upcoming drama movie directed by Spike Lee and starring Nick Cannon, Teyonah Parris, Anya Engel-Adams, Samuel L. Jackson, Wesley Snipes, Angela Bassett, Jennifer Hudson, and Dave Chappelle:

“A modern day adaptation of the ancient Greek play Lysistrata by Aristophanes, set against the backdrop of gang violence in Chicago. The trailer doesn’t look bad, but I am not sure yet why the online word is so excited about this film… I guess I need to see more footage and learn more about the film… Or the online world is wrong?
