Surf’s Up 2 Movie Trailer

Surf's Up 2 Wavemania MovieYou may watch below the first official trailer of Surf’s Up 2 WaveMania, the upcoming animated movie sequel directed by Henry Yu based on a script by Abdul Williams:

SURF’S UP 2 WAVEMANIA
Plot synopsis:
“Cody Maverick, hungry for a new challenge, convinces an infamous big wave riding crew known as The Hang 5 — voiced by WWE Superstars John Cena, The Undertaker, Triple H, WWE Diva Paige and Mr. McMahon — to let him join them on their journey to a mysterious surf spot known as The Trenches, where legend has it, they’ll find the biggest waves in the world. Cody soon discovers that the life he left behind might be more heroic than what any death-defying wave has to offer.”

I don’t really understand why they Sony Pictures Animation hired clowns from the WWE to lend their voices to characters in a movie about surfing…

The film has yet to get an official release date (most likely sometime in Spring 2017).

A Quiet Passion Movie Trailer

A Quiet Passion MovieWe’ve got our hands on the first official trailer of A Quiet Passion, the upcoming biography drama movie written and directed by Terrence Davies and starring Cynthia Nixon, Jennifer Ehle, Keith Carradine, Emma Bell, and Duncan Duff:

A QUIET PASSION
Plot synopsis:
“A film based on the life and work of the great poet Emily Dickinson. She wrote a poem a day, but only a fraction of her output was published throughout her lifetime. She was extremely shy, but with a wry, lively sense of humor and loved to laugh or to be made to laugh. Her friendships were intense but it was within the family that she found her greatest happiness. Her life is one of quiet dignity. The poetry magnificent. All the terror and beauty of the world distilled down to the quintessence of meaning and expression. She is quite simply one of the world’s greatest poets.”

Emily Dickinson wasn’t a wimpy woman, she was a real feminist! Totally love Cynthia Nixon’s take on the character!

The film has yet to get an official US release date but it will hit UK theaters on November 18, 2016..
