The first movie trailer of Predators has shown up online. Well, it’s actually a sneak preview in which Producer Robert Rodriguez introduces us to his film, this footage was shown earlier at the SXSW film festival:

The movie Predators is directed by Nimrod Antal and produced by Robert Rodriguez. The film is starring Adrien Brody, Walton Goggins, Danny Trejo, Oleg Taktarov and Mahershalalhashbaz Ali. It will be released on July 9, 2010.

This new Shrek movie has obviously been produced for 3D: that scene with Shrek riding a flying broom is going to be awesome in 3D!

It’s a great day for Twilight fans: Summit Entertainment has unleashed online the full-length official movie trailer of Twilight 3 Eclipse! You may watch it below:

Plot:
“In The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is rav­aged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friend­ship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.”

Twilight Eclipse is directed by David Slade based on script by Melissa Rosenberg (who wrote the scripts of the first two movies). Judging from the Eclipse trailer above I’d say that Director Slade did a good job adapting this third opus of Stephenie Meyers’ masterpiece. It lookzs like Eclipse strikes a right balance between emotion and action. Well, maybe there is more emotion, but hey, that’s what makes the Twilight Saga such a success. Robert Pattinson as Edward is as handsome as usual, Kristen Stewart as Bella gets prettier with every movie, and Taylor Lautner who plays the role of Jacob, well I’m no fan of him, but I must admit that his charisma is growing.

Actor Stephen Lang who played Colonel Miles Quaritch in Avatar has been hired to play the role of the villain in the upcoming Conan movie. He confirmed his role to MTV:

Here’s a description of Khalar Singh from an early character breakdown that leaked online some time ago:

He’s in his 40s to 50s, Asian or Middle Eastern, Central Asian, Mongol, Turkish, or Persian, open to all ethnicities; commanding in size and manner, a warlord and formidable warrior, brilliant, cruel, weathered and tanned by the many campaigns he has waged and won. He is driven in his quest to find the Queen of Acheron and has been building an empire to do so. His goal is to find the Queen whose blood will bring life to the demonic minions of Acheron while making himself king of this hellish power. With this power, Khalar will protect his legacy against the onslaught of master sorcerer, Thoth-Amon so that his weak son, Fariq may rule after his death. I can definitely imagine Stephen Lang as an evil warlord! Glad he will be on board this new Conan movie, he’s a great actor to pit against Jason Momoa who’s playing the role of Conan.

Tron Legacy is going to be a hell of a movie! I’m so mesmerized by those lightcycles: I want one right now!

To really enjoy it one definitely have to watch this movie in IMAX 3D! The movie will hit theaters on December 17, 2010.
