There is a new featurette for Avatar, the latest movie directed by James Cameron. This new Avatar featurette is focusing on the technologies seen in the movie:
A new preview clip of Up in the Air is available. The scene features Anna Kendrick and George Clooney:
UP IN THE AIR – What kind of relationship do you have?
Dr. Manhattan, the quantum-mechanical superhero from the Watchmen who thinks that life is an overrated phenomenon, is still sensitive to love. So I bet that even the corporate hawk played by George Clooney still has a little weakness that he doesn’t want to admit.

Remember Me is an upcoming romantic drama movie starring Actor Robert Pattinson (Edward from the Twilight saga) in the lead role. The story revolves around two lovers whose newfound relationship is threatened as they try to cope with their respective family tragedies. The film is directed by Allen Coulter and along Robert Pattinson it is also starring Emilie de Ravin, Pierce Brosnan, Chris Cooper and Lena Olin. The movie Remember Me is set for a release on March 2010.
Here below the first official movie trailer of Remember Me:
REMEMBER ME
Plot:
“Robert Pattinson plays Tyler, a rebellious young man in New York City who has a strained relationship with his father (Pierce Brosnan) ever since tragedy separated their family. Tyler didn’t think anyone could possibly understand what he was going through until the day he met Ally (Emilie de Ravin) through an unusual twist of fate. Love was the last thing on his mind, but as her spirit unexpectedly heals and inspires him, he begins to fall for her. Through their love, he begins to find happiness and meaning in his life. But soon, hidden secrets are revealed, and the circumstances that brought them together slowly threaten to tear them apart. Remember Me is an unforgettable story about the power of love, the strength of family, and the importance of living passionately and treasuring every day of one’s life.”
Movies about “rebellious” young people are usually boring unless there is something like vampirism added to the mix… But the movie Remember Me can boast an impressive cast with Robert Pattinson, Pierce Brosnan and Emilie de Ravin. And because I do appreciate those actors I am kind of impatient to watch Remember Me.

20th Century Fox has released a new movie trailer of Percy Jackson:
PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS: THE LIGHTNING THIEF
Plot:
“A young man discovers that he is descended from a Greek god and embarks, with the aid of a satyr and the daughter of Athena, on a dangerous adventure amidst a war between the Gods.”
There is some real wisdom in the movie Percy Jackson: a simple pen can indeed become one of the mightiest weapon! Just depends on who’s holding it and how!
:)
Plot:
“Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, is taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher’s presence in the Touhys’ lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle. In the latest chapter of his inspiring story, Oher was a First Round draft pick in the 2009 NFL Draft, selected by the Baltimore Ravens.”
The Blind Side is a really inspiring movie: the Touhys are great heroes!

The marketing team at Lionsgate found an interesting way to promote the upcoming sci-fi vampire movie Daybreakers: they just release a TV Spot mimicking a public service ad. Here’s this new TV clip of Daybreakers:
Mankind has been infected with a highly contagious vampire virus, and now most people need blood to survive. The remaining humans are captured and herded in blood farms: demand needs to be supplied after all!

Alvin and The Chipmunks The Squeakquel
Every time I hear those talking squirrels I want to call the nearest pest control service! Unfortunately my wife convinced the kids that they are real fans, so I won’t be able to avoid Alvin and the Chipmunks 2.

The Last Song is an upcoming coming of age drama movie directed by Julie Anne Robinson and starring Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth, Greg Kinnear and Kelly Preston. The film is set to be released on April 2, 2010. Here’s the first official movie trailer of the Last Song:
THE LAST SONG
Plot:
“The Last Song is set in a small Southern beach town where an estranged father (Greg Kinnear) gets a chance to spend the summer with his reluctant teenage daughter (Miley Cryus), who’d rather be home in New York. He tries to reconnect with her through the only thing they have in common—music—in a story of family, friendship, secrets and salvation, along with first loves and second chances.”
It’s hard to really get really interested in this movie: Miley Cyrus doesn’t really fit into this small role, her acting is just bland… Had they hired some unknown actress instead of her, The Last Song would have been a much better movie. Or thinking, maybe Kristen Stewart would have been a better choice… Anyway Miley Cyrus has so many young diehard followers that the movie will find a large public anyway.
;-P
If you go watch James Cameron’s Avatar, you definitely have to watch it in an IMAX theater and in 3D! The movie Avatar is just going to be so awesome in 3D!

You may watch below the new movie trailer of Bitch Slap, an hilarious action movie directed by Rick Jacobson and starring Julia Voth, Erin Cummings, and America Olivo:
BITCH SLAP
Plot:
“At its core, ‘Bitch Slap’ follows three bad girls (a down-and-out stripper, a drug-running killer and a corporate powerbroker) as they arrive at a remote desert hideaway to extort massive booty from a ruthless underworld kingpin. Things quickly spin out of control as allegiances change, truths are revealed, other criminals arrive for the score, the fate of the world hangs in the balance and they are forced to confront a villain much worse than they ever expected… themselves. It’s the ultimate morality tale as, one by one, they realize the whole “she-bang” was a set-up and one of the film’s characters may not even be human…”
The whole trailer of Bitch Slap looks like a promo spot for plastic surgery! Anyway, the movie still looks like it’s going to be entertaining if not edifying. The film will have a limited release on January 8, 2010.
We got our hands on a clip of James Cameron’s Avatar. The clip features Jack Sully (Sam Worthington) as he is chased by some huge scary and hungry alien beast:
Fortunately we don’t have such monsters roaming our streets here on Earth! The Planet Pandora is is maybe beautiful, but it’s actually quite close to hell!
The movie Avatar is definitely going to be epic: a crazy adventure in a world full of danger!
