Ninja Movie Trailer

Scott Adkins (who was the stunt double of Ryan Reylnolds as Weapon X aka Deadpool in the movie Wolverine) got the lead role in the upcoming movie Ninja. The film is directed by Isaac Florentine. It seems there is theatrical release in Asia. But I’m afraid it will only have a straight-to-DVD release in the USA…

Here’s the movie trailer of Ninja:

NINJA

Plot:
“A westerner named Casey, studying Ninjutsu in Japan, is asked by the Sensei to return to New York to protect the legendary Yoroi Bitsu, an armored chest that contains the weapons of the last Koga Ninja.”

I definitely want to watch the movie Ninja! Scott Adkins is a real expert in martial arts, and his movie isn’t just smoke and mirrors, but real action!

Thinking, a Gaijin who becomes a ninja master, I should watch American Ninja again!
;-P

Astro Boy – The Robot Games
Astro Boy does not want to fight…
Plot synopsis:
“When an android replica of a boy is rejected by his aggrieved creator, he goes off to find his own identity in an adventure that would make him his time’s greatest hero.”

I was quite surprised by the little robot splitting and transforming into two dangerous robots. The movie Astro Boy is definitely likely to deliver much more than first expected!

Shutter Island Trailer

SHUTTER ISLAND

Plot:
“U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels is investigating the disappearance of a murderess who escaped from a hospital for the criminally insane and is presumed to be hiding on the remote Shutter Island. ”

Looks like Leonardo DiCaprio is gonna lose his mind in the movie Shutter Island, or maybe he’s crazy from the start?

By the way, the release date of Shutter Island has been pushed back to February 19, 2010.
:)

2012 5 Minute Clip

Let’s witness the end of the world in 2012 according to Roland Emmerich in this 5 minute clip of 2012:

2012 5 minute Scene

I like the special effects in this extended clip of 2012, but I hope people won’t be screaming all the time… Ok, it’s the end of the world, but do we need to listen to those whining people? Anyway, the movie 2012 looks damn good!

Fantastic Mr Fox Trailer

A second trailer of The Fantastic Mr Fox has shown up online:

Fantastic Mr Fox Movie Trailer

FANTASTIC Mr. FOX

The stop-motion animation seems kind of broken in this new trailer of the Fantastic Mr Fox… Don’t know if it was their intent, but I’d rather watch some smooth CGI animation.

The Fantastic Mr Fox is maybe a movie that people yearning for old fashioned animation will appreciate… But even if the story is catchy and the voices (with George Clooney and Bill Murray) are awesome, I doubt it will be enough to entice people to go watch The Fantastic Mr Fox in theaters…
:/

Tooth Fairy Movie Trailer

Tooth FairyThe movie trailer of Tooth Fairy has been released! In Tooth Fairy Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock got a new job as tooth fairy.

Here’s the trailer of Tooth Fairy:

TOOTH FAIRY

Plot:
“A bad deed on the part of a tough minor-league hockey player (Johnson) results in an unusual sentence: He must serve one week as a real-life tooth fairy.”

No need to bash this film: it’s not Rambo, but it’s gonna be fun to watch in family. And one can’t deny that the Rock looks with his little wings is something worth seeing. Sing me up for the Tooth Fairy!
:)

The Crazies Movie Trailer

The Crazies MovieDirector Breck Eisner has been working on The Crazies, a remake of George Romero’s 1973 horror film of the same name. The new Crazies movie is starring Timothy Olyphant, Radha Mitchell, Danielle Panabaker, Joe Anderson. It will be released on February 26, 2010.

Here below the official movie trailer of The Crazies:

THE CRAZIES

Plot:
“A reinvention loosely based upon the George Romero classic of the same name, The Crazies is about the inhabitants of a small Iowa town suddenly plagued by insanity and then death after a mysterious toxin contaminates their water supply.”

I haven’t seen the original movie. But Breck Eisner’s The Crazies looks quite good. And the song Mad World (by Gary Jules) at the end of the trailer of the Crazies was well chosen!

The Princess and the Frog
That’s exactly the answer: you must kiss me!

Kissing a frog, really? That girl must be really depressed… Or maybe he real intent was to get high from licking that frog? I should stop there, afraid to become like the old Scrooge in a A Christmas Carol

Agora – Hypathia in front of the council

Hypathia must have had a strong personality! Feminists may complain about glass ceiling nowadays, but it was much worse in the past…
