There is a new international trailer of An Education, the upcoming roamntic drama movie directed by Lone Scherfig and Written by Nick Hornby, the writer behind High Fidelity and About A Boy:
AN EDUCATION
Plot:
“In the post-war, pre-Beatles London suburbs, a bright schoolgirl (Carey Mulligan) is torn between studying for a place at Oxford and the rather more exciting alternative offered to her by a charismatic older man (Peter Sarsgaard). ”
I quote:
“My choice is to do something hard and boring or to go to Paris and have fun!”
Young people want it all right now, that’s nothing new, but you have to work hard to get that!
;-)
Thanks to Colider we may watch a few more preview clips of Extract, the upcoming comedy movie directed by Mike Judge and starring starring Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Mila Kunnis and Ben Affleck. We already saw the first clip, but let the combo video play to get to watch the other Extract clips:
Director Mike Judge must enjoy the corporate world: he’s know for The Office, and now he goes to the Extract plant!
:)
In the movie Zombieland, Jesse Eisenberg does have the survival of our species at heart (think “make babies”). This new preview clip of Zombieland indicates indeed that he’s thinking about repopulating Earth later on:
In the movie Whiteout, US Marshall Carrie (Kae Beckinsale) has to face a vicious criminal in the white coldness of Antarctica. Let’s watch those preview clips of Whiteout:
The first official movie trailer of The Descent 2 has been released online, you may watch it below:
THE DESCENT: Part 2
Plot:
“The sequel will continue the story of Sarah who, as the only known survivor of an all-female caving expedition gone horrifically wrong, suffers severe psychological trauma. She accompanies a rescue team back to the cave but events once again take a sinister turn.
The Descent Part 2 picks up immediately after the events depicted in The Descent. Sarah (Shauna Macdonald) emerges alone from a cave system following an expedition with her five friends in the Appalachian mountains. Distraught, injured and covered in the blood of her missing companions, Sarah is incoherent and half-wild with fear. Skeptical about her account of events and convinced Sarah’s psychosis hides far darker secrets, Sheriff Vaines forces her back into the caves to help locate the rest of the group. Trapped by falling rocks, the rescue party is driven deep into the caverns, and as one by one the fate of the missing girls is revealed. Sarah struggles to stay alive and once again encounters the evil in the deep.”
The world down under our feet is as alien as space indeed. Who knows what monsters are hiding below! I would never go back down there like that girl does in the Descent 2!
;-P

Rachel Weisz plays the role of astrologer-philosopher Hypatia of Alexandria in Agora, an upcoming History drama movie directed by Alejandro Amenabar. Here below the latest trailer of Agora:
Plot:
“A historical drama set in Roman Egypt, concerning a slave who turns to the rising tide of Christianity in the hopes of pursuing freedom while also falling in love with his master, the famous female philosophy professor and atheist Hypatia of Alexandria.”
This November comes a story so unbelievable it has to be true!
Plot:
“tells the true (albeit somewhat bizarre) story about a top secret unit within the American military whose purpose is to develop mind-control powers for ‘psychic spying’. The film follows a reporter, Bob Wilton (Ewan McGregor), who stumbles into the story of a lifetime when he meets a special forces agent, Lyn Cassady (George Clooney). As they embark on a new mission, Lyn reveals his twenty-year involvement in this top secret, psychic military unit and shares details of their activities, each more bizarre than the last (including staring at goats in order to kill them telepathically).”
The movie Men Who Stare at Goats is directed by Grant Heslov and is starring George Clooney, Ewan McGregor, Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges. It’s gonna be a hell of a comedy movie!
I would not stare at that goat: I’d rather sacrifice the animal right away and transform its delicious meat into tasty goat kebabs!
