We’ve got our hands on a first official picture of Bruised, the upcoming drama movie directed by Halle Berry based on a script by Michelle Rosenfarb and starring Halle Berry as a disgraced MMA fighter:

Plot synopsis:
“Jackie ‘Justice’ (Halle Berry), a disgraced MMA fighter who has failed at the one thing she’s ever been good at fighting. When 6-year-old Manny, the son she walked out on years ago, returns to her doorstep, Jackie has to conquer her own demons, face one of the fiercest rising stars of the MMA world, and ultimately fight to become the mother this kid deserves.”

Besides Halle Berry, the cast also includes Adan Canto, Sheila Atim, Stephen McKinley Henderson, and Shamier Anderson.

The film has yet to get an official release date.
