It is here that he befriends Ms. Maddy, 75, a past beauty with a irreverent and hardened shell to whom he delivers dinners. Through her, Lance finds hope, relearning the joys of life and living despite the outwardly bedeviled society in which they find themselves.”

The film is starring Daniel Beaty, Loretta Devine, Omari Hardwick, and Selenis Leyva.

Release date: February 3, 2017 (Limited LA/Chicago; expands 2/10).

Why did he go back to Harlem? He should have moved to some new place to rebuild his life… Anyway, Chapter and Verse looks like a solid movie, I’ll give it a try and you?
