Plot synopsis:
“Lauren Curran (Christina Ricci) and her husband Russell (Brendan Fletcher) move into The Pinnacle, a sleek, modern apartment complex with all the amenities, including a state-of-the-art security system. Lauren, who is recovering from a tragic loss, is comforted by the added security, but quickly suspects something is amiss with the apartment, much to the concern of Russell, who thinks she is imagining things.
Lauren researches the company who built The Pinnacle and meets Vernon Sarsfield (John Cusack), a conspiracy theorist. Vernon believes The Pinnacle is not an apartment complex at all; it is a corporate experiment in synthetic telepathy and the residents are guinea pigs in a global brainwashing plot.
Lauren initially questions Vernon’s sanity, but as she investigates deeper, she finds her own life in peril. She and Vernon join forces in a race against time to prevent a corporate takeover of all human thought.”
The film has yet to get an official release date, sometime in 2018.
