Plot
“Told from Igor (Daniel Radcliffe)’s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant’s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Viktor Von Frankenstein (James McAvoy), and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man – and the legend – we know today.”

Are they fighting against the monster created by Frankenstein? Or against the villagers?

The film is based on a script by Max Landis. It will open in theaters on November 25, 2015.

Actor Daniel Radcliffe has been spotted on the set of Frankenstein, the new movie adaptation of Mary Shelley’s cult novel in which he plays the role of Igor, Frankenstein’s assistant:

This new version of Frankenstein is based on a script by Max Landis (the scriptwriter of Chronicle). It should focus more on the characters’ backstories, especially Igor’s. A few words from Max Landis about his take:

“I began to pick apart our knowledge of Frankenstein and discovered that the public’s idea of this myth comes from a million different places…I became committed to recontextualizing it all so it all worked in one story. By the end of the day, yeah it’s a period piece, yes it’s from Igor’s perspective, but man it’s cool…”

The film is directed by Paul McGuigan. Besides Daniel Radcliffe, the film is also starring James McAvoy, Jessica Brown Findlay, and Bronson Webb.
