The movie Hereafter: trailer, clips, photos, soundtrack, news and much more!
The first official movie poster of Clint Eastwood’s Hereafter has been unveiled:
Directed by Clint Eastwood, the movie Hereafter is starring Matt Damon, Cecile De France, Frankie McLaren, George McLaren, Jay Mohr, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The film will be released in theaters on October 22, 2010.
Here’s a first look at Matt Damon and Bryce Dallas Howard in the movie Hereafter, an upcoming supernatural thriller directed by Clint Eastwood:
The movie Hereafter will be released on October 22, 2010.
Plot of Hereafter:
“George (Matt Damon) is a ‘handsome, shy, soft-spoken’ factory worker who can talk to the dead but prefers not to.
Meanwhile, across the world, two different plotlines play out that are touched by tragedy:
– beautiful French journalist Marie (Cecile De France) recovers from a near-death experience in the 2004 tsunami, then becomes increasingly gripped with questions about what she saw before she was revived.
– at the same time in London, a drug-addicted English single mother, played by Lyndsey Marshal, loses one of her twin 10-year-old sons in a car accident…
The three parallel stories eventually intersect: three lonely people, cut off from the ones they love, searching for answers about what lies beyond life.”
Sounds like a supernatural existentialist movie… I’m surprised to see Clint Eastwood helming such a film. But I’m confident he will carry out the project well and that the movie Hereafter will be an Oscar contender at the end!
According to variety, Clint Eastwood ‘s next project would be a supernatural thriller titled Hereafter. He would direct the film and Matt Damon (who’s already starring in Clint Eastwood’s Invictus) would have the lead role.
The plot of Hereafter is kept secret, but it’s been described as in the vein of Shyamalan’s ‘Sixth Sense’. That description could have spoiled the movie Hereafter, but with Clint Eastwood helming the project, you can be sure that the film will be more than a plot twist and will emphasize the characters.
I think the title will change along the way, as it usually happens with Clint Eastwood’s movies. And there could one more reason to a title change: there’s already a drama movie (directed by Michael Patwin) with the same title that’s listed for a release in 2011…
Anyway, if the film is still released under the title of Hereafter, I’m quite sure it would eclipse the other one because of Clint Eastwood’s talent.
