Yep, there’s going to be a hybrid live-action/CGI remake of Lilo & Stitch in 2025. Take a look at those official posters:

Plot synopsis:
“The film tells the story of the bond formed between a lonely human girl named Lilo and a dog-like alien named Stitch, who is engineered to be a force of destruction. Pursuing aliens, social workers and the idea of the bond of family figure into the proceedings.”

The new Lilo & Stitch movie is directed by Dean Fleischer Camp and written by Chris Kekaniokalani Bright. And the cast includes Maia Kealoha (as Lilo), Chris Sanders (as Stitch), Sydney Agudong, Billy Magnussen, Tia Carrere, Hannah Waddingham, Courtney B. Vance, and Zach Galifianakis.

The release date of the movie Lilo & Stitch is set to May 23, 2025 (in theaters).
