We’ve got our hands on the first official trailer of Gun Shy (previously titled Salty), the upcoming action comedy movie directed by Simon West and starring Antonio Banderas, Olga Kurylenko, Martin Dingle Wall, Ben Cura, and Aisling Loftus:

I’ve just spotted this new teaser poster of Salty, the upcoming action comedy movie directed by Simon West and starring Antonio Banderas and Olga Kurylenko:

Plot synopsis:
“The story follows Turk Henry (Antonio Banderas); a mega platinum rock star who’s married to a supermodel (Olga Kurylenko) and rich beyond his wildest dreams. Whilst on holiday, his wife is mysteriously abducted by a group of renegade, ship-less pirates. With little assistance from local authorities Turk is forced to embark on a mission to rescue his wife. With life skills better suited to playing bass, playing the field, and partying he is forced to navigate through deadly jungles and take on ruthless bandits in this truly hilarious, action-packed romp.”

Antonio Rambo looks like the bastard child of Rambo and a fashionista on this poster: he rocks!

Filmmaker Simon West (who directed Stratton is set to helm Salty, an upcoming action comedy movie based on a script by Mark Haskell Smith and Toby Davies that’s described as as “The Hangover” meets “Get Him to the Greek”. Here’s a first official teaser poster:

SALTY

Plot synopsis:
“Set in Thailand, the story follows the experience of Turk Henry; rock star and bassist for a recently split mega platinum music band. Married to a supermodel and rich beyond his wildest dreams, Turk finds his pampered paunch plopped on the beach in Phuket. Turk soon discovers that Thailand is probably the last place a recovering sex addict should go on vacation. As he struggles with monogamy, his wife is mysteriously abducted by a group of renegade, ship-less Thai pirates. Having never organised anything more challenging than a club sandwich from room service, Turk embarks on a mission to rescue his wife. With life skills better suited to playing bass, playing the field, and partying he is forced to navigate the back alleys of Bangkok, with hilarious escapades in the flesh pots of Patpong. And take on ruthless bandits in the deadly jungles of South East Asia.”

So we’re in for a mixture of comedy, action and exotic locations? Well, sign me up for Salty then!
