Straw Dogs is a remake of the 1971 classic about violence in England. The remake will replace the English town with the American South. In the movie L.A. screenwriter David Sumner (James Marsden) relocates with his wife Amy Sumer (Kate Bosworth) to her hometown in the deep South. There, while tensions build between them, a brewing conflict with locals becomes a threat to them both, especially the conflict with Amy’s ex boy friend Charlie (Alexander Skarsgard).
