“Andie (Jessica Rothe), a young woman recently released from rehab after an attempted suicide, is banished by her family to a secluded South Dakota ranch lorded over by her temperamental Uncle Erwin (Bates Wilder). Andie and Erwin prove to be vicious verbal sparring partners. They find themselves forced by their isolation amid 10,000 acres of wheat, sorghum and hay bails to find common ground by accepting each other’s addictions and slowly divulging their own secrets.”
