It soon becomes clear that something evil haunts the church and Mateho must act quickly to stop the dark vengeance from destroying everything in its path.”

“Mateho (Jake Stormoen), an officer of the Inquisition and rational man of science, visits a remote monastery to investigate a bizarre murder of a monk. Something evil is afoot, but is the terror man-made or the result of witchcraft?”

How did that poor soul lose his skin? Third degree burn? Anyway, great movie ahead! It kind of reminds me of the cult 1986 movie “The Name of the Rose“.

Plot synopsis;
“Mateho (Jake Stormoen), an officer of the Inquisition and rational man of science, visits a remote monastery to investigate a bizarre murder of a monk. Something evil is afoot, but is the terror man-made or the result of witchcraft?”

Well, Jake Stormoen makes for a really handsome inquisitor!

Besides Jake Stormoen and Kristian Nairn, the cast also includes Adam Johnson, Michael Flynn, Baylee Self, Nathan Stevens, Jon Lindsey, Oscar R. Sanchez, John Hinckley, Kenneth F. Brown, Eric Millward, Winter Lindsey, and Kami Knight.

The film has yet to get an official release date, but it will premiere at Cinepocalypse 2018.
