A new frightening trailer has been released online for The Boy, the upcoming original horror-thriller movie directed by William Brent Bell and starring Lauren Cohan:

Plot synopsis:
“An American nanny (Lauren Cohan) is shocked that her new English family’s boy is actually a life-sized doll. After violating a list of strict rules, disturbing events make her believe that the doll is really alive.”

The baby-sitter should just burn the doll, and maybe burn the house too, and then get the hell away and go back home! Why does she stick around?

The film will be released in theaters on January 22, 2016.
