The Croods – The song “Shine Your Way” performed by Owl City and Yuna
Plot:
“The Croods is a 3D comedy adventure that follows the world’s first modern family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always been their home, is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods are rocked by generational clashes and seismic shifts as they discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures — and their outlook is changed forever.”

What do you think of the theme song of the Croods? The song is a bit too weak, nope?

With no other options, the Croods family will together embark on the adventure of a lifetime in search of a new home. As they travel into the unknown life gets complicated, particularly when his oldest daughter falls for a nomad named Guy along their dangerous journey. Guy’s search for tomorrow is indeed a generational clash with Grug’s reliance on the traditions of yesterday. In discovering the incredible new world together their outlooks will be forever changed.”

That ugly little baby girl still manages to be cute! LOL!

The Croods – Eep and Guy are hunting.
Plot:
“The Croods is a prehistoric comedy adventure that follows the world’s first family as they embark on a journey of a lifetime when the cave that has always shielded them from danger is destroyed. Traveling across a spectacular landscape, the Croods discover an incredible new world filled with fantastic creatures — and their outlook is changed forever.”

That prehistoric bird is damn ugly! God, it’s even uglier than my mother in law!

In theaters: March 22, 2013.
:)

The Croods – The grandmother and the tiger

We get a better look at the grandmother and the tiger thanks to those new character posters of The croods, the upcoming adventure animated movie from Dreamworks. First, the grandmother:

The Croods Movie Trailer

(Click on a poster to enlarge.)

My name is Gran. What’s it to you? I lived through the ice age. What did you do? Okay, I’m a little cranky, but you’d be cranky too if you were my age. Forty-six is as old as dirt in the Croodaceous. I’ve seen it all: man-eating plants, bone-crushing Macawnivores, you name it, but the thing that worries me the most is my son-in-law Grug. He’d be worthless if it weren’t for me keeping him in line.

And here’s the tiger:

“Meet Chunky the Macawnivore! With the body of a small tiger, an over-sized head and the colorization of a Macaw Parrot, he is an imposing creature who towers over The Croods.”

Plot of The Croods:
“The world’s very first prehistoric family (the Croods) goes on a road trip to an uncharted and fantastical world.”

Do you like your In-Laws or just tolerate them? Want Chunky to eat them alive maybe?
:)

The Croods – Thunk and his crocodog

A new character poster for the Croods, this one features Thunk:

(Click on a poster to enlarge.)

My name’s Thunk! I’m six feet tall, 280 pounds and nine years old. As the second man of the cave, I use my expert hunter-gatherer skills to help my family survive, although I sometimes tend to break an egg or two…. My dad is the greatest person alive and like him, I have promised to never do anything new or different.

And here’s Douglas, Thunk’s viciously cute crocodog:

Meet Thunk’s pet Douglas! An unexpected blend of canine and crocodile, his menacing looks and razor sharp teeth mask a friendly demeanor.

Two additional posters below:

Plot:
““The world’s very first prehistoric family goes on a road trip to an uncharted and fantastical world.”

Would you want to have a crocodog for pet? Or maybe you’d rather have a crococat?
:?

The Croods – Ugga, the first modern mom!

Dreamworks shared a new character poster of The Croods, it features Ugga, the first modern mom:

(Click on the poster to enlarge.)

Her description:

“Okay, I know what you’re thinking. Living in the Croodaceous isn’t exactly a party, but there are really some nice things about it. Staying in a dark cave is really good for your skin, and we never have to worry about the neighbors being too loud since they were carried away by a dust storm a few summers ago. I do miss sharing mosquito burger recipes with the Throgs; they were nice cave people. But you never know, they might get blown back this way someday.”

And here’s another poster with the whole family:

If they don’t evolve they will be history…
:)

The Croods – Sandy

Meet Sandy, a cute little girl from The Croods, the upcoming animated movie by Dreamworks Animation that’s set in prehistoric times:

Here’s her description:

“Hi, my name is Sandy. I technically can’t talk yet, but I do have one mean growl. I’m the youngest member of the Croods, but don’t let my cuteness fool you. My bark is just as bad as my bite!”

Do you think she looks like the combination of a child, a warthog and a hippo?
:)

The Croods – Guy and his sloth

Those two new character posters of The Croods, the upcoming adventure animated movie from Dreamworks Animation, feature Guy and his sloth pet named Belt:

Trailer of The Croods

(Click on a poster to enlarge.)

A description of Guy (voiced by Ryan Reynolds):

“Hi, I’m Guy. You might say I like to travel. In fact, I’ve been walking alone since I was a little kid. The alone time gives me lots of time to think. Like wondering where the rain comes from and where do the suns go to sleep at night. Besides hanging out with my best friend, my pet sloth, Belt, I like coming up with ideas and inventing things. I also like hanging out with the Croods, except for the times when Eep’s Dad tries to kill me.”

Guy doesn’t have much brawn but he knows how to use his brain, and he got a perfect utility belt!
:)

Plot:
“The world’s very first prehistoric family goes on a road trip to an uncharted and fantastical world.”

Are you better off now than you were four million years ago? Anyway, the girl on the character is Eep, a teenage rebel. Here’s the official description of her character:

“My name is Eep, and I’m 19 summers old. I like to run, jump, and chase mammoths. Any chance I get, I like to lie in the sun. I guess because my family and I live in a cave. We’re the last cave in Crood Canyon… actually, we’re the only cave in Crood Canyon. I don’t get out much, probably because there’s a lot of stuff outside that wants to eat us. All that time inside doesn’t really interfere with my dating life because there aren’t any boys to date. The last dateable one was eaten a few years ago. I can’t complain though, because complaining hasn’t been invented yet.”
