We’ve got our hands on a preview clip of Three Christs, the upcoming drama movie directed by Jon Avnet and starring Richard Gere, Peter Dinklage, Walton Goggins, Bradley Whitford, and Julianna Margulies:

Three Christs – Plot synopsis:
“Based on the groundbreaking psychiatric experiment in 1959, Three Christs follows Dr. Alan Stone (Richard Gere) as he brings three patients (Peter Dinklage, Brad Whitford, Walton Goggins), each of whom believes he is Jesus Christ, to live together in a ward. Their delightful chaos clashes with the mental institution’s soul-numbing routine, as Stone attempts to treat these men with a revolutionary method: listening.”

No official release date yet, but the film will make its World Premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, Thursday September 14th, 2017.

Plot synopsis:
“Dr. Alan Stone (Richard Gere) has found Jesus — in triplicate. Stone is charged with providing treatment to three different paranoid schizophrenic patients at Michigan’s Ypsilanti State Hospital who all attest to being Jesus Christ. Stone brings the trio together, confronts them with their conflicting claims and coaxes them into forging a unique sort of support group. As these men grapple with Stone’s affront to their beliefs, they inch closer to seeing themselves in a new light.”

The cast inlcudes Richard Gere, Peter Dinklage, Walton Goggins, Bradley Whitford, Charlotte Hope, Julianna Margulies, Kevin Pollak, James Monroe Iglehart, Stephen Root, Jane Alexander, Julian Acosta, Danny Deferrari, Chris Bannow, Kathryn Leigh Scott, and Christina Scherer.
