Actress Julia Roberts is set to portray Kenyan conservationist, ecological activist Joan Root in Wild Flower, the upcoming biography drama movie based on the novel of the same name written by Mark Seal. Matthew Faulk and Mark Street are in charge of the script. No director announced yet.

The Murder of Joan Root, and the Cause That Killed Her
Joan Root, a wildlife filmmaker turned conservationist was murdered
while trying to save Lake Naivasha, the only fresh water lake in Kenya
and the center of the cut flower industry.
The film has yet to get an official release date.
