Thanks to HBO here’s the first official trailer of Native Son, the upcoming drama movie directed by Rashid Johnson and starring Ashton Sanders, Margaret Qualley, Bill Camp, Nick Robinson, KiKi Layne, Sanaa Lathan, Elizabeth Marvel, and David Alan Grier:

“Based on the classic novel by Richard Wright, NATIVE SON tells the story of Bigger Thomas (Ashton Sanders), a young African-American living in Chicago who is hired as a chauffeur for affluent businessman Will Dalton (Bill Camp). The release date of the movie Native Son is set to April 6, 2019 (on HBO).
