Let’s watch the first official movie trailer of OldBoy, the upcoming drama movie directed by Spike Lee and based on the Japanese manga of the same name (thanks to fellow movie fan Nami for pointing this out!):

“The film is a provocative, visceral thriller that follows the story of an advertising executive (Josh Brolin) who is abruptly kidnapped and held hostage for 20 years in solitary confinement. Spike Lee’s OldBoy is not the first movie adaptation of the Japanese manga. The first adaptation, released in 2003, was directed by South-Korean Director Chan-wook Park.

Do you think Spike Lee’s version will be better than Chan-wook Park’s film? Or just a copy with Westerners for actors?

The film is starring Josh Brolin, Sharlto Copley, Elizabeth Olsen, and Samuel L. Jackson. It will hit theaters on October 25, 2013.

We’ve got our hands on a new animated prologue of Snowpiercer, the upcoming post-apocalyptic science-fiction thriller movie directed by South-Korean Filmmaker Bong Joon-ho. The short film explains what caused the new Ice Age, and what happened afterward. It is narrated by South Korean Actress Ah-sung Ko who playes the role of Yona in the feature film. What it below:
