Thanks to Summit Entertainment here’s the first official trailer of Escape Plan, the upcoming action thriller movie directed by Michael Hafstrom and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, two cult action movie actors:

Besides Stallone and Schwarzenegger, the cast also includes Jim Caviezel, Curtis Jackson, Vinnie Jones, Vincent D’Onofrio and Amy Ryan.

Do your remember Knight Rider, the 1980’s TV show starring David Hasselhoff? The show was revolving around Michael Knight (played by David Hasselhoff), a high-tech modern crime fighter assisted by an advanced, artificially intelligent and nearly indestructible car called KITT. Well, according to the LA Times there’s a Knight Rider movie ahead of us!

The Weinstein Co., which owns the movie rights, indeed hired Brad Copeland to pen a script for the movie adaptation.

Actor David Hasselhoff is too old to reprise his role as Knight Rider. But he will likely show up in the film, at least for a cameo if not more.
