I do like the poster, but with that bluish light Riddick kind of reminds me of Abe Sapien, the fish man from the Hellboy movie franchise:

Independence Day 2 Release Date

Independence Day 2 MovieAn Independence Day 2 movie has been in development since quite long, with Roland Emmerich (who helmed the first film) dropping details about the film every now and then… the project kind of fell in development limbo at some point though. But it sounds like the sequel is back on the front burner: 20th Century Fox has indeed set an official release date for Independence Day 2! The film will hit theaters on July 3, 2015.

Independence Day 2 Film

Director Roland Emmerich once said that the sequel would be set 20 years after the events of the first film, with a new wave of alien invaders coming to avenge their fallen brothers and sisters.

Do you want Will Smith to reprise his role? Do you want his son Jaden to join the cast of the sequel? Share your thoughts below!

World War Z 2 Clips with brad Pitt and crazy zombies

Actor Brad Pitt tries to escape from really aggressive zombies in those two new clips of World War Z, the action horror zombie movie directed by Marc Forster:

World War Z Trailer

World War Z – Cut off a bitten arm to prevent zombie infection.

World War Z – Chopper under attack
Plot:
“United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) traverses the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments, and threatening to destroy humanity itself.”

The film is based on the book of the same name written by Max Brooks. But even if the film is awesome, it’s still a really loose adaptation… I definitely recommend you to read the book, it’s way better than the film!

Dr Easy – That’s Awesome!

Yet a new awesome science-fiction short film. It’s titled Dr Easy and it comes from the British music video directing team Shynola, it’s their first short film:

DR. EASY
Plot:
“Starring Tom Hollander alongside Dr. Easy, a medical robot voiced by Geraldine James, the short is adapted from Matthew De Abaitua’s novel The Red Men, set against a pervasive and Orwellian vision of contemporary society: surveillance, automation, biotechnology, and their implications for our humanity.
Michael (Tom Hollander) is a broken man with a gun, surrounded by armed police. A robot with a medical degree is dispatched – but can it save him?”

The short film Dr Easy is written and directed by Jason Groves, Chris Harding and Richard Kenworthy (Shynola). It’s actually a prologue for a planned feature adaptation of ‘The Red Men’.

Somehow I feel sad for this poor robot… Awesome short film, isn’t it? Continue reading »

Trailer of Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher as Apple’s Steve Jobs

We’ve got our hands on the first official movie trailer of Jobs, the upcoming biography drama movie directed by Joshua Michael Stern and starring Actor Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs, the co-founder of Apple who died in 2011:

JOBS

It only takes one person to start a revolution.

Insired by true events.

The original innovator. The original rebel. The original visionary.

Some see what’s possible, others change what’s possible.

Plot:
“We follow Steve Jobs (ASHTON KUTCHER) from the enthusiasm and self-discovery of his youth through his darkest days, brightest triumphs, and the ultimate power of his drive, his passions, and his undying will to change everything we thought possible. Dark, honest, and uncompromising, “Jobs” plunges into the depths of Steve Jobs’ character, uncovering his driving motivations, his gifts, his flaws, his failures, and his ultimate successes.”

It’s an inspiring trailer, isn’t it? But I don’t really see Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs… Feel like Michael Kelso (the character Ashton Kucther used to play) from the TV series That ’70s Show dropped in Steve Jobs’ life…

Anyway, what do you think of Ashton Kutcher’s performance as the late Steve Jobs? Does he make the cut? Should you be an Apple fan, a Microsoft fan or an Android fan feel free to share your thoughts below!

The release date of Jobs is set for August 16, 2013.
