Director Michael Bay announced on his official site that Actor Jack Reynor, pictured above, is joining the cast of Transformers 4 for a lead role:
“I just hired a great new actor for Transformers 4 to star against Mark Wahlberg. Jack Reynor, he is an Irish kid that came to America with 30 bucks in his pocket. Pretty ballsy. Seriously who does that? Anyway I spotted him in a great little Irish movie WHAT RICHARD DID. This kid is the real deal.He looks as boring as Shia Labeouf! Well I guess they don’t want a lead character who’s too handsome so that the average male moviegoer like you or me can relate.
Anyway, the release date of Transformers 4 is set for June 27, 2014.
