Sony has officially confirmed on the Facebook page of the Amazing Spider-Man that they’re planning a trilogy:

“It’s finally here! The Amazing Spider-Man is the first installment in a movie trilogy that will explore how our fave hero’s journey was shaped by the disappearance of his parents.”

The TV series Fringe will return for a fifth and final season on September 28, 2012. It will consist of 13 episodes.

So who’s the man in the shadow? The actor has been identified as Michael Massee, he usually plays evil guys in TV series. But what about the character he’s playing? Could have been Norman Osborn, but Actor Rhys Ifans said it wasn’t him. Oscorp employee David Patrick Lowell then? Or the Chameleon? Anyway I guess we’ll learn more in The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
