The release date of the sequel to Captain America has been announced by Walt Disney Studios (remember they bought Marvel): Captain America 2 will hit theaters on April 4, 2014.

The second installment will pick-up where the highly anticipated Marvel’s The Avengers leaves off, as Steve Rogers continues his affiliation with Nick Fury and S.H.I.E.L.D and struggles to embrace his role in the modern world. Actor Chris Evans will of course reprise his role as the super-soldier Steve Rogers aka Captain America.

Looks like we may expect some action! Well, we’ll get a better idea of what to expect from Savages when the full trailer will be released.
