The Divide is an upcoming sci-fi thriller movie directed by Xavier Gens (who once brought us Hitman). The film is starring Milo Ventimiglia, Ashton Holmes, Michael Biehn, Lauren German, Peter Stormare, Rosanna Arquette, Courtney B. Vance, Michael Eklund, and Ivan Gonzalez. It should be released sometime in 2010.

“When a cataclysmic explosion devastates New York, eight strangers take refuge in the basement of their apartment building, a converted fallout shelter designed by their paranoid superintendent Mickey. With just three connecting rooms it’s barely big enough, but with stockpiles of food and water, the group are at least safe from the horrors outside, and they settle in and attempt to fathom the catastrophe that has ended the lives of so many of their loved ones.
But suddenly men in HAZMAT suits storm their shelter and open fire. The strangers join forces in a desperate bid to take on this enemy, with no one understanding what these HAZMATS are looking for and what drives them to be so merciless. With fatalities on both sides and the remaining HAZMATS temporarily pushed back and locked out, the worst is yet to come for the group. I wonder what caused that cataclysmic explosion… Atomic bomb? Where do those people in hazard suit come from? The Divide looks like a mysterious movie: I definitely want to know more!

Rio is an upcoming animated movie by Fox and Bluesky the creators of the Ice Age trilogy. The story revolves around Blu, a nerdy macaw from small-town Minnesota, who takes off on an adventure to Rio de Janeiro. The film will be released on April 8, 2011.

Just learned that Spanish Director Daniel Benmayor has been hired by 20th Century Fox to helm the movie Hitman 2.

Hitman 2 movie

No confirmation yet if Timothy Olyphant is reprising his role as Agent 47. But the actor did say that he would be interested in doing a sequel, so he’s quite likely to come back.
