Fair Game is an upcoming drama movie directed by Doug Liman and starring Naomi Watts, Sean Penn, Noah Emmerich, and Liraz Charhi. The film should get released sometime in 2010. Here’s a first preview of clip of Fair Game:
Update – Here’s the official movie trailer of Fair Game:
FAIR GAME
Plot:
“Fair Game is a drama about the outing of CIA agent Valerie Plame Wilson. Ambassador Joseph Wilson watched his wife’s CIA status become compromised after he wrote op-ed columns that accused the Bush Administration of manipulating intelligence about weapons of mass destruction to justify the invasion of Iraq.
Plame Wilson left the CIA in 2005 and she and her husband filed a civil suit against Vice President Dick Cheney, Karl Rove and Cheney’s ex-chief of staff, Lewis ‘Scooter’ Libby. While Rove and Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage admitted they leaked her agency status to journalists, Libby was convicted of lying to a federal grand jury about his role in compromising her covert status.”
Not excited by the story, but judging from the cast of the movie Fair Game and the clip above, the film will be worth watching.

Director Pete Travis has been hired to helm the new Judge Dredd movie we talked about a few months ago. The film is not a remake based on Sylvester Stallone’s Judge Dredd, but rather a reboot that will be more faithful to the original comic book. I’ve heard that this reboot Judge Dredd movie will be in 3D. There’s no official release date. But since they now have enough financing, it should enter production quite soon.
John Wagner, the creator of Judge Dredd, is quite enthusiast about this new Judge Dredd movie:
“I have read the script (by Alex Garland) and seen Jock’s visual. While I can’t go into detail about the content I can say that it’s high-octane, edge of the seat stuff, and gives a far truer representation of Dredd than the first movie.”

Who do you want for the lead role as Judge Dredd?

Thanks to Bloody Disgusting we may take a look to the first pictures of The Last Exorcism (previously titled Cotton), an upcoming horror movie directed by Daniel Stamm and starring Patrick Fabian, Ashley Bell, and Louis Herthum:
Plot:
“After a career spent helping the devout through prayer and trickery, Reverend Cotton Marcus (Patrick Fabian) invites a film crew to document his final fraudulent days as an exorcist. Soon his faith is truly tested when a desperate plea from the father of a possessed girl (Ashley Bell) brings him face to face with the devil himself.”
I think The Last Exorcism movie will be some combination of Paranormal Activity and The Exorcist: well, a damn scary movie!
The Last Exorcism will be released on August 27, 2010.
