REPO MEN
Jude Law and Forest Whitaker
Consider them your final notice.
For a price, any organ in your body can be replaced.
But it can also be repossessed.
Plot:
“Set in the future, the story revolves around a man (Jude Law) who struggles to make the payments on a heart he purchased. He must go on the run before said ticker is repossessed by the company that owns it.”
The future depicted in the movie Repo Men is unlikely to happen! Laws would protect the unfortunate customers of those organs, and if the laws weren’t applied, it just wouldn’t make sense for the companies to kill their delinquent customers: it would be more efficient for thoses company, if they’re really that powerful, to just force their customers to work to pay back those organs… Moreover I can’t imagine second-hand organs selling at premium value on the market, so definitely better to keep those delinquent customers alive and force them to somehow pay back.
Anyway the movie Repo Men looks like a quite entertaining sci-fi flick that one should not miss!

I know they are working very hard on it. But I don’t have any idea when it will be out.”
David Slade, director of Twilight 3 Eclipse

Actor Aaron Eckhart got the lead role in Battle Los Angeles, an upcoming sci-fi action movie directed by Jonathan Liebesman. The film follows a Marine platoon coping during a sudden and unexpected attack by an alien force. The film is somewhat inspired by a real event that took place in Los Angeles 1942. It involved a large-scale anti-aircraft artillery barrage against unidentified glowing targets. Japanese fire ballon or real aliens? It’s still a mystery:
BATTLE LOS ANGELES
But Jonathan Liebesman’s Battle of Los Angeles is only loosely based on the event, it’s not a period movie, and aliens are more than likely to show up:
Plot:
“When unknown forces put the City of Angels under attack, it is up to a Marine staff sergeant (Aaron Eckhart) and his new platoon to come to the rescue. As the invasion hits the streets of L.A., the Marines become our first and last line of defense against a highly powerful enemy.”
Here’s a first look at Aaron Eckhart as a Marine Staff Sergeant Nantz:

In the movie Battle Los Angeles, Nantz leads his new platoon against the surprise attack, and attempts to rescue civilians in Santa Monica and destroy the hub of the enemy’s mysterious power grid, while similar epic battles are waged across the world in other cities…

The first opus of the Incredibles was released in 2004. It was welcome by the public and it kind of became cult. Because of Pixar’s previous policy of spitting on sequels there was little hope for a movie sequel to the Incredibles. But since Pixar has been acquired by Disney, that policy has changed. And sequels are definitely part of Pixar’s new road map (like Cars 2, or Toy Story 3). Does it mean that Incredibles 2 will enter into production soon? Well, unfortunately, not really… There is still a certain way of working at Pixar, and for a sequel to be greenlit, it must have been more or less validated by the director of the original film… So if the movie Incredibles 2 hasn’t been released yet it’s most likely because Director Brad Bird (who helmed the first Incredibles film) isn’t ready to do it yet…
Here’s what he said, back in 2007, about a potential Incredibles 2 movie:
“I love the world. I love the characters, and if I could come with a story that was as good or better than the original, I’d go there in a second. I have pieces of things that I would love to see in a sequel. But I haven’t got them all together yet. And I certainly wouldn’t want to come out there with something that is less than the original.”
Director Brad Bird
Maybe time that someone from Disney Pixar reminds him about Incredibles 2? Scores of fans are yearning for a sequel to the Incredibles!
Anyway, what plot would you suggest for the movie Incredibles 2?
:)
Plot:
“When a spell is cast on a handsome egocentric young man (Alex Pettyfer) that physically transforms him into everything he despises, he has one year to find a young woman (Vanessa Hudgens) who will love him despite his hideous form or the spell will last forever.”
The movie Beastly, directed by Daniel Barnz, is an hyper-modern retelling of the classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’ story. It is based on by Alex Flinn’s novel. Beastly is set to hit theaters on July 30, 2010.
:)
Plot:
“Legion is the Sony/Screen Gems feature coming in January 2010 and featuring an all-out war between Heaven and Earth. Legion: Prophets introduces us to the ‘Prophets’—ordinary people who have yet to understand the powers they possess and their very special role in the apocalyptic events that are about to sweep across the globe two days before Christmas. The series is plotted by the film’s director, Scott Stewart, and scripted by Tom Waltz (Silent Hill: Sinner’s Reward).”
Plot
“A comedy about two cops whose adventures include locating a stolen baseball card, rescuing a woman, and dealing with gangsters and their laundered money.”
I love to eat food like Tracy Morgan does in this movie trailer of Cop Out!

Here’s the red-band movie trailer of Repo Men, an upcoming science-fiction movie directed by Miguel Spochnick and starring Jude Law, Forest Whitaker, Liev Schreiber, Alice Braga, and Carice van Houten:
REPO MEN
Plot:
“Set in the future, the story revolves around a man (Jude Law) who struggles to make the payments on a heart he purchased. He must go on the run before said ticker is repossessed by the company that owns it.”
It’s in the line of Gattaca: Jude Law has to fight against an evil system that enslave mankind into some inhuman vicious circle. But there will be much more action in the movie Repo Men!
:)
Battle Los Angeles
Genre: Action, Science-Fiction

“A thriller set within the architecture of the mind about a CEO who is involved in a blackmailing scandal.”
The movie Inception is going to blow us all away: it just looks amazing! Let’s forget the Matrix and Keanu Reeves: here comes Inception and Leonardo DiCaprio! Thanks God for we have science-fiction to entertain us!
