The first official movie trailer of Multiple Sarcasms, the upcoming drama movie directed by Brooks Branch and starring Timothy Hutton, has been released:
Multiple Sarcams
I thought the movie would be more interesting because of its funny poster, but this trailer of Multiple Sarcasms is hardly exciting… Well, actually it’s just hard to get thrilled at any existentialist movie…
The movie Multiple Sarcasms will be released in Spring 2010.
:/
Director Greg Berlanti (who wrote the script of the upcoming Green Lantern movie) has been working on Life as we know it, an upcoming romantic comedy movie starring Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel, Josh Lucas, Christina Hendricks, and Jean Smart.
Here’s a first look at Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel in the movie Life as we know it:
(Click on the picture to enlarge it.)
Plot:
“Holly Berenson (Katherine Heigl) is an up-and-coming caterer and Eric Messer (Josh Duhamel) is a promising network sports director. After a disastrous first date, the only thing they have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their goddaughter, Sophie. But when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world, Holly and Eric are forced to put their differences aside. Juggling career ambitions and competing social calendars, they’ll have to find some common ground while living under one roof. ”
Having a kid changes everything, that’s sure! So will Holly and Eric get closer thanks to this kid? I bet yes!

Mel Gibson got the lead role as a father investigating his daughter’s murder in the movie Edge of Darkness. Here’s a first TV spot of Edge of Darkness:
EDGE OF DARKNESS
Plot:
“As homicide detective Thomas Craven investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.”
They killed Daddy’s daughter, and now daddy is angry! None will escape his vengeance!

Plot:
“Gabriel (Timothy Hutton) is a man who, on the surface, has it all – successful professional life as an architect, a beautiful wife, and a devoted young daughter. But slowly it dawns on him that he is not really happy. Gabriel decides that he wants to write a play about the sorry state of his life. He quits his job, gets a pushy literary agent friend to represent him and starts writing. The changes that occur in his life after this leads him to further question what makes him happy.”
Sounds like the usual boring existentialist movie… But this funny poster did catch my attention. I may give a try to Multiple Sarcasms if they release an interesting trailer.

REMEMBER ME
Every life has a meaning…
What a shame to put the beautiful Emilie de Ravin in the background like this! Robert Pattinson is maybe handsome, but he can’t eclipse Emilie de Ravin!
;-P
