Happy Tears is an upcoming R-rated drama movie written and directed by Mitchell Lichtenstein. The story revolves around two sisters trying to cope with their father’s dementia. The cast includes Demi Moore, Parker Posey, Ellen Barkin, and Rip Torn. The film will have a limited release on February 19, 2010.

Plot:

I bet Posey and Moore will make two crazy sisters on screen, as crazy as the father played by Rip Torn.

MTV talked to Bob Layton, a co-writer of the Iron Man comic book whose notable input was War Machine. And, he’s been hinting at a possible War Machine spin-off movie:
“I think there are a variety of reasons to have the War Machine character in there. If they’re doing the ‘Avengers’ film, they always have the option of using War Machine instead of Iron Man depending upon what happens contractually. I’m just speculating, I have no idea… But there’s always the possibility that if it does well, it can spinoff. Because obviously there’s a different character and a different motivation with War Machine than there is with Tony Stark.”

Well, the War Machine movie hasn’t been officially announced yet by Marvel. But it would make sense to develop a spin-off. I’m sure a large public would be glad to see a War Machine movie!
Besides Don Cheadle, who’s replacing Terrence Howard as Jim Rhodes aka War machine, is an actor with a lot of experience, and he has enough charisma to have the lead role in such a blockbuster.
Let’s hope that this War Machine movie will be greenlit one day!

Letters to God is an upcoming drama movie directed by David Nixon and starring Ralph Waite, Bailee Madison, Maree Cheatham, and Robyn Lively. I didn’t like Fireproof which was a movie for bigots… But Letters to God looks much better: it’s a Christian movie with a real plot and that talks about a real issue! Letters to God will not only appeal to the evangelical market segment, but will most likely reach a wider public.
After watching this Letter to Gods trailer, what do you think? Is it a film done by and for religious bigots? Or do we have a great movie ahead?

Universal has released this first official picture of Little Fockers, the movie sequel to Meet the Fockers:
