Avatar Trailer

Conversation with Avatar’s James Cameron and stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana.

Zoe Saldana is so cute in her white dress! Too bad we won’t really see her in the movie Avatar: they used motion capture to create a female Na’vi based on her… She’s also lending her voice to the character. That’s great, but I’d rather watch the real beautiful Zoe Saldana than that giant blue alien thing!

Dragon movie

Plot:
“The film is set in a mythical world of vikings and dragons. The story centers around a viking teenager named Hiccup (Jay Baruchel), who lives on the island of Berk, where fighting dragons is a way of life. The teen’s smarts and offbeat sense of humor is disliked by his tribe and its chief, Hiccup’s father. However, when Hiccup is included in Dragon Training with the other viking teens, he sees his chance to prove he has what it takes to be a fighter. After he entangles a dragon with a bolas-shooting cannon, Hiccup releases and ends up befriending the dragon. This relationship flips his world upside down as he strives to convince his tribe that they do not need to be dragon-slayers.”

The poster comes to us from Japan, hence the manga feel to it. But I actually even suspect some Japanese influence in the very design of the dragon by Dreamworks!

Tony Stark Iron Man 2

It was awesome to see Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) building his armors in the first Iron Man movie. And I’m quite glad to see that he’s still geeking out on something in the movie sequel Iron man 2:

This picture below must be from an different scene of Iron Man 2 (different shirt!), but Tony Stark is still wearing those peculiar glasses, so it’s maybe linked to the two previous pictures:

I hope that Iron Man 2 will be as pro-technology as the first one, and will somewhat entice the world’s youth to embrace science and technology for the greater good of Mankind!

Cop Out Movie

The movie Cop Out is an upcoming comedy directed by Kevin Smith and starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. The title is pun that plays on cop (the police) and cop out:

Cop out:
1. (idiomatic) To avoid or shirk, either by failing to perform, or by performing in a grossly insufficient, negligent, or superficial manner.

Update: The movie trailer of Cop out is available:

COP OUT

Here below the first official picture of Cop Out:

(Click on the picture to enlarge it.)

Plot:
“A comedy about two cops whose adventures include locating a stolen baseball card, rescuing a woman, and dealing with gangsters and their laundered money.”

Bruce Willis won’t be wearing that ugly wig from the Surrogates, so Cop Out may perform better!

A movie trailer of Cop Out is expected to be shown in front of Sherlock Holmes this Christmas.

Clash of the Titans Movie Trailer

CLASH OF THE TITANS

This remake of Clash of the Titans is much more action-packed than the original movie. One can’t deny that it looks great. But that music sounds so cheap… It’s really poorly chosen! With a better song this Clash of the Titans trailer could look even more awesome!

– Dakota Fanning as Cherie Currie, the band’s lead vocalist.
– Scout Taylor-Compton as Lita Ford, the band’s lead guitarist.
– Stella Maeve as Sandy West, co-founding member and drummer of the band.
– Hannah Marks as Tammy, the band’s groupie.
– Alia Shawkat as Robin, the band’s fictional bassist.
– Riley Keough, as Marie Currie, identical twin sister of Cherie Currie (although portrayed as fraternal twins in the film).

– Keir O’Donnell as Rodney Bingenheimer, radio DJ.

I’m not a fan of the queens of noise, but I could go watch the Runaways movie just to see the performances of Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning.
