It's Complicated Movie

Take a look to the movie poster of It’s Complicated, an upcoming comedy starring Alec Baldwin, Meryl Streep and Steve Martin:

(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)

Plot:
“Jane (Meryl Streep) is a self-reliant divorcee who owns a successful bakery in Santa Barbara. After ten years of separation and 3 grown children, she finally achieves a good relationship with her ex-husband Jake (Alec Baldwin), a successful attorney who has remarried the much-younger Agness (Lake Bell). Jane and Jake meet when out of town and attending the college graduation of their son. A dinner together develops into an affair, making Jane ‘the other woman’. Complicating matters is Adam (Steve Martin), an architect hired to remodel Jane’s kitchen, who is himself healing from a divorce of his own, and who has begun to fall in love with Jane. He realizes he is now part of a very strange love triangle.”

Wisdom may come with maturity, but when love gets involved, it’s never easy and things to be complicated.

The movie It’s Complicated is written and directed by Nancy Meyers (who once brought us the romantic comedy movie The Holidday, film starring Cameron Diaz, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Jack Black).

Bunny and the Bull Movie Trailer

Here’s the movie trailer of Bunny and the Bull, a psychedelic British comedy movie directed by Paul King:

Plot:
“Bunny & the Bull is a road movie set entirely in a flat. Stephen Turnbull hasn’t been outside in months. Living with a painfully restrictive routine, he refuses to interact with the world or think about the past. When a sudden infestation of mice forces him to change his ways, he finds his mind hurtling back to the disastrous trek around Europe he undertook with his friend Bunny, a womanising, gambling-addicted booze-hound.

Unable to stem the flood of memories, Stephen’s flat becomes the springboard for an extraordinary odyssey through landscapes made up of snapshots and souvenirs, from the industrial wastelands of Silesia to the bull fields of Andalusia. A story of love, disillusionment, stuffed bears and globalised seafood, Bunny & the Bull is an offbeat and heartfelt journey to the end of the room.”

Cast:
– Edward Hogg as Stephen Turnbull
– Simon Farnaby as Bunny
– Verónica Echegui as Eloisa
– Noel Fielding as Alcoholic ex-matador
– Richard Ayoade as Dull tour-guide
– Julian Barratt as Dog-loving tramp

Alice in Wonderland looks tame compared to Bunny and the Bull! Those two are living in a crazy world of memories and dreams.

Deadpool Live Action

Deadpool Live Action MovieProducer Lauren Shuler Donner has been talking about the upcoming live action Deadpool movie starring Ryan Reynolds. She’s bringing some good new for the hard-core fans of the mutant mercenary: the movie Deadpool is a kind of reboot that won’t take the last Wolverine movie into account. Here’s what she said about

Deadpool

:

“I want to ignore the version of Deadpool that we saw in Wolverine and just start over again. Reboot it. Because this guy talks, obviously, and to muzzle him would be insane. He is a bad ass, a wise-cracking mercenary, who will go out and kill anyone for money. It’s going to be a dark, snarky, very funny movie.
[… and about Ryan Reynolds:] I mean, look at Harrison Ford – he was in Star Wars and Indiana Jones at the same time and everyone was fine with that. Green Lantern could not be more different to Wade Wilson. Green Lantern is a guy who finds a ring and is thrust into this world, much like Spider-Man. Wade Wilson is a guy who unfortunately gets cancer, and volunteers for a test that will give him healing powers.”

X-Men franchise producer Lauren Shuler Donner

So Deadpool will be a dark, snarky, very funny movie: well that’s tantalizing! Hope she will keep her word about this Deadpool movie and that it will be as witty as the comic books!

Eclipse Photo

The movie New Moon isn’t released yet, but you probably know that the Twilight crew is already working hard on Eclipse, the third opus of the Twilight Saga. If they’re filming so soon, it’s because Summit Entertainment want to release the next movie as soon as possible. That’s why Twilight 3, Aka Twilight Eclipse, will be release early next year, on June 30, 2010!

So here’s the official photo of Twilight Eclipse in high-res:

The Twilight Saga Eclipse Movie - Twilight 3

Plot – Synopsis:

“As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella (Kristen Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Robert Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death.”

Expect lot of action with this new Twilight movie. And with Director David Slade helming the film, it’s probably gonna be gothically dark. But don’t worry the romance between Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella (Kristen Stewart) is still the central theme, and as they’re slowly losing their inhibitions, it’s getting hot!

Old Dogs Movie

Old DogsRobin Williams and John Travolta, who both impersonated women in previous movies (respectively in Mrs. Doubtfire and Hairspray), are finally teaming up for the comedy movie Old Dogs, but they won’t be wearing skirts: Old Dogs is about two old dudes who want to believe that they are still young stallions, but find out that life is catching up with them. Here below the latest trailer of Old Dogs:

Plot:
“Two best friends — one unlucky-in-love divorcee (Robin Williams) and the other a fun-loving bachelor (John Travolta) — have their lives turned upside down when they’re unexpectedly charged with the care of six-year-old twins while on the verge of the biggest business deal of their lives. The not-so kidsavvy bachelors stumble in their efforts to take care of the twins, leading to one debacle after another, and perhaps to a new-found understanding of what’s really important in life.”

Still hard to get interested in the movie Old Dogs, but John Travolta is in it, so I’ll give it a try…

Edge of Darkness Movie

(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)

Plot:
“As homicide detective Thomas Craven investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent tasked with cleaning up the evidence.”

When I see Mel Gibson playing the role of a cop, I cant but think of Lethal Weapon. Unfortunately the movie Edge of Darkness is unlikely to make me laugh…

Amelia Movie

Here’s the latest international trailer of Amelia, the upcoming biopic directed by Mira Nair:

AMELIA

Plot:
“Hilary Swank as Amelia Earhart, the legendary aviatrix and enigmatic symbol of the American free spirit, who was guided by a profound curiosity for everything life had to offer. Earhart’s early aviation triumphs and meteoric rise to fame and fortune were propelled along by her tempestuous partnership and eventual marriage to publisher George Putnam (Richard Gere). Bound by mutual ambition, admiration and, ultimately a great love, their bond could not be broken even with her brief passionate affair with Gene Vidal (Ewan McGregor). Ms. Earhart was the first woman to solo the Atlantic and was the first pilot, man or woman, to fly unaccompanied across the Pacific. In Amelia’s attempt to be the first to fly around the world in an equatorial flight her life was tragically cut short with her mysterious and untimely disappearance over the South Pacific in 1937.”

Hilary Swank makes a pretty Amelia but I wonder if she attended a pilot school to really prepare for her role.

Legion Movie Poster

Legion Character Poster

(Click on a poster to enlarge it.)

Plot:
“The story follows what happens when God loses faith in humanity and sends his legion of angels to wipe out the human race for the second time. Mankind’s only hope lies in a group of misfits holed up in a diner in the desert who are aided by the archangel Michael”

If God is trying to wipe out Mankind, does Mankind have to embrace atheism to kill God?
