With the movie ‘It’s complicated’ it looks like Alec Baldwin is trying to emulate Woody Allen’s really complicated love stories. The character played by Alec Baldwin went through a mid-life crisis and ditched his former wife, but he finds out that he still wants to see her. He has to face some competition to win back the old wife’s heart tough:
Plot:
“A romantic comedy in which two men vie for the affection of a woman.”
The romantic comedy movie It’s Complicated is written and directed by Oscar nominated filmmaker Nancy Meyers and is starring starring Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, and Meryl Streep. It will be released on December 25, 2009.

Well, such robots would need a fail-safe control! I’m not much afraid of the machine itself, but I fear that people remote controlling such things could lose control of themselves… Imagine being smashed by one of those…
:)
Ben Barnes got the lead the role in the new Dorian Gray movie. But it’s a 100% straight version of Dorian Gray: the producers just shy away from the homosexual content of the original book written by Oscar Wilde. Anyway, take a look to the Dorian Gray poster:
(Click on a poster to enlarge it.)
They could do better: why don’t they show the rotting face of Dorian Gray in a mirror?
;-P
Some great calendars are being made for the release of Twilight 2 New Moon. We saw a few Twilight 2 stills yesterday and this morning an anonymous reader sent those great pictures of an other New Moon Calendar:
Creation is a biopic movie telling the life of Charles Darwin, the famous British scientist who wrote the revolutionary book “The Origin of Species”. The movie Creation is focusing on the impact of the book he was writing on Charles Darwin’s personal life. The film is directed by Jon Amiel and is starring Paul Bettany as Darwin, and the beautiful Jennifer Connelly as his wife Emma. The movie will be released on September 25, 2009 in the UK but no official US release date yet.
Watch below the movie trailer of Creation:
CREATION
His book was the most explosive in History.
It would change the world!
And test everything he loved…
Plot:
“English naturalist Charles Darwin struggles to find a balance between his revolutionary theories on evolution and the relationship with religious wife, whose faith contradicts his work.”
Rather than the end of God, I’d say that Darwin’s book proved that the Bible and its likes (Talmud, Koran and so on…) aren’t the absolute truth. Creationism is clearly bullshit, but unfortunately it’s still kicking and alive, especially in the USA… May God save us from those stupid creationist bigots!
Anyway, for once, I’ll go watch this film with my mother in law (she’s an annoying creationist…)! I’ll be damn glad to see her frowning while watching the movie Creation.
By the way the movie could be retitled Origin in the USA according to IMDB, it’s probably to try to deflect criticism from the Creationist lobby…

The movie Extract is an upcoming comedy movie directed by Mike Judge and starring Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Mila Kunnis and Ben Affleck. The story takes place in the glorious world of an extract factory. The movie will be released for Labor Day on September 4, 2009.
Watch below the movie trailer of Extract:
EXTRACT
Plot:
“Joel, the owner of an Extract plant, tries to contend with myriad personal and professional problems, such as his potentially unfaithful wife and employees who want to take advantage of him.”
Casting:
– Jason Bateman as Joel: the owner of an extract factory
– Ben Affleck as Dean: the best friend of Bateman’s character
– Kristen Wiig as Suzie: the wife of Bateman’s character
– Clifton Collins, Jr. as Step: a factory worker who loses a body part in a freak accident and is now due for a huge settlement
– Dustin Milligan as Brad: gigolo who Bateman’s character hires to find out if his wife is cheating on him
– Mila Kunis as Cindy
Yep that’s the Office transposed to the factory! But I’d rather watch this Extract movie than the Office… Must because Mila Kunis is in it! She’s damn sexy in her lovely tiny shirt.

Liam Neeson got the lead role in After Life an upcoming horror thriller movie directed Agnieszka Wojtowicz-Vosloo. The movie is also starring Justin Long, Christina Ricci and Chandler Canterbury. It should be released in 2010.
Here below the first pictures of the movie After Life:
(Click on a picture to enlarge it.)
Plot:
“A young woman caught between life and death… and a funeral director who appears to have the gift of transitioning the dead, but might just be intent on burying her alive.”
The tagline of the movie is rather disturbing: ‘Life is the symptom. Death is the cure. ‘ Well I’d be damn glad if I could avoid the final cure! Anyway, I prefer to see Liam Neeson in such the movie After Life than in the Other Man…
;-P
Dolph Lundgren plays the role of Gunnar Jensen, a German Expendable. From a casting call that leaked online some time ago, Gunnar is described as an Expendable with a nihilistic view of their “business”. He accepts the new mission in South America in exchange for 10 million dollars and a city to call his own! Well, sounds fair enough: Gunnar is putting his life at stake, so he can ask for a bonus at the end! It’s not like Wall Street traders getting fat on the tax payers’ money!
And here’s one more picture of the Expendables, it shows Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham:

Jason Statham is starring like a killer at something… Scary man…

The previous creepy posters of Surrogates are actually promotional material from the company building the robots in the movie. One may see them in the background of this new international movie poster of Surrogates:
Plot:
“Set in a futuristic world where humans live in isolation and interact through surrogate robots, a cop (Willis) is forced to leave his home for the first time in years in order to investigate the murders of others’ surrogates.”
What may appear as a ‘simple’ criminal investigation is going to grow out of proportion and the cop played by Bruce Willis will have to outsmart his opponents to save mankind!
;-)
A silent video test of The Princess of the Frog has surfaced online. It’s worth a look for it gives a look into the early steps of the creation of an animated movie:
Jacob (Taylor Lautner) can bulk up as much as he wants, but he won’t be as handsome as Edward with his lovely vampire eyes. So there is not point for him in trying to seduce Bella (Kristen Stewart): he can’t make her forget Edward!
;-)
If there is a trailer you have to watch today, it’s definitely the red band trailer of Zombieland, the upcoming zombie horror comedy directed by Ruben Fleischer:
Woody Harrelson and Jesse Eisenberg make incredible zombie slayers:in case of a zombie invasion don’t call the police, should rather call the guys from Zombieland!
:)
Imagi finally releases an official version of the poster that’s been floating online since a while. Take look to the Gatchman poster in its full glory below:
I guess the release of Gatchaman has been postponed again: the movie was expected to be released in 2010, but the poster above announces a release in 2011…
Anyway let’s pray for Imagi to be able to carry out this project for us all to enjoy Gatchman in our theaters!
:)
