Smallville Season 9

Smallville Season 9 TrailerGet ready for the darkest hour of Clark Kent! Smallville season 9, which is probably the last season, will most likely show how the Red-Blue Blur hero becomes the Superman we know!

Below a first trailer of Smallville Season 9:

Promo Blurb:
“Returning for its ninth season, last season Smallville was filled with twists and surprises, starting with the disappearance of Lex Luthor. However, someone quickly arrived to take his place – the enticing Tess Mercer, who reconnected with her old flame Oliver Queen, discovered Clark’s true identity and unleashed a new world of danger. Clark also met his greatest match – Doomsday. When Clark wasn’t busy battling the beast, he was knee-deep in work at the Daily Planet. As Clark’s persona as the cub Planet reporter emerged, so did his feelings for Lois Lane, the fated lvoe of his life.

The series stars Tom Welling as Clark Kent, Allison Mack as Chloe Sullivan, Erica Durance as Lois Lane, Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen and Cassidy Freeman as Tess Mercer. Reinterpreting the Superman mythology from its roots, Smallville was developed for television by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar based on the DC Comics characters. Kelly Souders & Brian Peterson serve as executive producers, along with James Marshall, Mike Tollin, Brian Robbins and Joe Davola. The series is produced by Tollin/Robbins Productions and Warner Bros. Television. SUPERMAN was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

The first episode of the final season of Smallville will premiere this Fall on September 25, 2009.

District 9 Clip Featurette

District 9 MovieDirector Neill Blomkamp and Actor Sharlto Copley presents the upcoming sci-fi movie District 9 in this new promo featurette:

Looks damn real, but no need to rush on CNN (I almost did)! It’s just a movie. No alien spaceship landing in South Africa or anywhere else in the world. Maybe better like this anyway: don’t think we would have the kind of DDT required to get rid of such giant alien locusts!

The movie District 9 hits theaters on August 14, 2009.

The Other Man Movie Trailer

Liam Neeson and Antonio Banderas - The Other Man MovieYou may watch below the US trailer of The Other Man, a movie in which Liam Neeson plays the role of a cuckold:

THE OTHER MAN

What if the one thing you cherished…
You lived for…
vanished
How much would risk?
How far would you go?

Plot;
“Peter (Liam Neeson), the CEO of a computer software company, has been married to Lisa (Laura Linney), a successful shoe designer, for well over 20 years. Her work means frequent travel, but their marriage seems happy, and they have a grown up daughter, Abigail (Romola Garai). Missing his wife, Peter discovers that she has been receiving emails and messages from a man he never knew existed.
Against Abigail’s advice, feeling betrayed and vengeful, Peter flies to Milan to find out the truth about the mysterious other man, Ralph (Antonio Banderas). As Peter begins to unravel his wife’s secret, the focus shifts to a suspenseful cat and mouse relationship between the two men.”

Cheating a sad thing, but no as much a big deal as movies would let us think… hey, life is short, no time to waste on that: if there is no more love on one side, better to let it go! So many potential partners in a life.

Steven Soderbergh's The Informant Poster

Matt Damon has gained weight for his latest role in The Informant, an upcoming movie directed by Steven Soderbergh and based on a true story:

THE INFORMANT

Based on a tattle-tale.

Plot:
“The U.S. government decides to go after an agri-business giant with a price-fixing accusation, based on the evidence submitted by their star witness, vice president turned informant Mark Whitacre.”

Matt Damon does not look that bad in the movie The Informant, but let’s hope that he will get back into shape for Bourne 4…
