A creepy movie trailer has been released for The Fourth kind, an upcoming sci-fi thriller movie directed by Olatunde Osunsanmi and starring Milla Jovovich, watch it below:
Plot:
“Fact-based thriller involving an ongoing unsolved mystery in Alaska, where one town has seen an extraordinary number of unexplained disappearances during the past 40 years and there are accusations of a federal cover up.”
Alien abductions fell out of fashion a while ago, but the Fourth Kind movie may rekindle some interest in the genre.

What a funny movie! I’m a sci-fi fan and I must admit that sometimes the books I read are filled with the same kind of lovely crap as depicted in the movie Gentlemen Broncos. I wish I had a flying deer that can fire missiles: what a fantastic pet it would be!

Carey Mulligan and Peter Sarsgaard got the lead roles in An Education, an upcoming romantic drama movie directed by Lone Scherfig. Take a look to this new poster of An Education:
AN EDUCATION
Sometimes an education isn’t always by the book.
Plot:
“A coming-of-age story about a teenage girl in 1960s suburban London, and how her life changes with the arrival of a playboy nearly twice her age.”
Some people know how to appreciate life! Great place to have drink! Make me think: I should bring my wife to do some romantic stuff like that!

The movie trailer of Law Abiding Citizen aired on Entertainment Tonight, you may watch it here below:
LAW ABIDING CITIZEN
A man who loses everything is capable of anything.
Plot:
“An everyday guy decides to take justice into his own hands after a plea bargain sets his family’s killers free. His target: The district attorney who orchestrated the deal.”
I’m not exactly impressed by this movie trailer of Law Abiding Citizen, it’s just one more revenge movie, but I still look forward to seeing the film. It looks indeed like a solid movie and Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx are awesome actors: all in all the movie Law Abiding Citizen will probably be a hit!

Update: the trailer of Beastly is now available!
BEASTLY
Here below a first look at the movie Beastly:
(Click on a picture to enlarge it.)
Plot:
“Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) has it all – looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity – and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating ‘aggressively unattractive’ classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra Hilferty (Mary Kate Olsen), inviting her to the school’s extravagant environmental bash. Kendra accepts, and, true to form, Kyle blows her off in a particularly savage fashion. She retaliates by casting a spell that physically transforms him into everything he despises. Enraged by his horrible and unrecognizable appearance he confronts Kendra and learns that the only solution to the curse is to find someone that will love him as he is – a task he considers impossible.
Repulsed by his appearance, Kyle’s callous father (Peter Krause) banishes him to Brooklyn with a sympathetic housekeeper (Lisa Gay Hamilton) and blind tutor (Neil Patrick Harris). As Kyle ponders how to overcome the curse and get his old life back, he chances upon a drug addict in the act of killing a threatening dealer. Seizing the opportunity, Kyle promises the addict freedom and safety for his daughter, Linda Taylor (Vanessa Hudgens) if she will consent to live in Kyle’s Brooklyn home. Thus begins Kyle’s journey to discover true love in this hyper-modern retelling of the classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’ story.”
My daughter is fan of Mary Kate Olsen so I guess I’m gonna hear a lot about this teen movie when it comes out in theaters. But i don’t mind the premise of the movie Beastly does not sound so bad after all and I do like the make up of the beast.

Jon Favreau, who brought us Iron man, wrote and is starring in Couples Retreat, an upcoming comedy movie. Here a few pictures of the movie Couples Retreat:
(Click on a picture to enlarge it.)
Plot:
“A comedy centered around four couples who settle into a tropical-island resort for a vacation. While one of the couples is there to work on the marriage, the others fail to realize that participation in the resort’s therapy sessions is not optional.”
The whole movie is just an excuse for Favreau to go get tanned in Bora Bora! And such a nice resort by the way! I’d be so happy to spend my holidays there! But it must be insanely expensive…

Hilary Swank plays the role of Amelia Earhart, the famous Aviation pioneer, in an upcoming biopic titled Amelia. Here below the first official movie poster of Amelia:
(Click on the poster to enlarge it.)
Plot:
“A look at the life of legendary American pilot Amelia Earhart, who disappeared while flying over the Pacific Ocean in 1937 in an attempt to make a flight around the world.”
Amelia Earhart was damn courageous to fly in the clunkers of old time! For my part, I prefer to avoid airplanes as much as I can… It’s noisy and such a hassle at the airport.
