Director Kevin Muroe is bringing a new movie adaptation to screen: this time it’s Dead of Night, a movie based on the horror comic series, ‘Dylan Dog,’ created by Tiziano Sclavi. The film is starring Brandon Routh (the guy from Superman Returns) in the lead role along Sam Huntington, Anita Briem and Taye Diggs. No official release date yet, listed for 2009 at IMDb but more probably early 2010.

Plot:
“The adventures of supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog, who seeks out the monsters of the Louisiana bayou in his signature red shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans.”

Well basically, Munroe, he’s saying that Dylan Dog is like Superman (with no superpowers though…), so I suppose that Brandon Routh is a good fit for the role in the movie Dead of Night…

What a funny movie! I’m a sci-fi fan and I must admit that sometimes the books I read are filled with the same kind of lovely crap as depicted in the movie Gentlemen Broncos. I wish I had a flying deer that can fire missiles: what a fantastic pet it would be!

I’m not exactly impressed by this movie trailer of Law Abiding Citizen, it’s just one more revenge movie, but I still look forward to seeing the film. It looks indeed like a solid movie and Gerard Butler and Jamie Foxx are awesome actors: all in all the movie Law Abiding Citizen will probably be a hit!

Beastly is an upcoming romantic fantasy movie directed by Daniel Barnz and starring Alex Pettyfer, Vanessa Hudgens, Mary-Kate Olsen. It is scheduled for a release on July 30, 2010.

Plot:
“Kyle Kingson (Alex Pettyfer) has it all – looks, intelligence, wealth and opportunity – and a wicked cruel streak. Prone to mocking and humiliating ‘aggressively unattractive’ classmates, he zeroes in on Goth classmate Kendra Hilferty (Mary Kate Olsen), inviting her to the school’s extravagant environmental bash. My daughter is fan of Mary Kate Olsen so I guess I’m gonna hear a lot about this teen movie when it comes out in theaters. But i don’t mind the premise of the movie Beastly does not sound so bad after all and I do like the make up of the beast.

The whole movie is just an excuse for Favreau to go get tanned in Bora Bora! And such a nice resort by the way! I’d be so happy to spend my holidays there! But it must be insanely expensive…
