Fox is lucky to have Hugh Jackman as Logan aka Wolverine. He definitely epitomizes the uncontrollable mutant by now! Just take a look to this poster if you aren’t convinced yet:

This Wolverine movie dwells on the early life of Logan aka Wolverine. Project Weapon X is going to enrol him by force and will infuse his skeleton with adamantium, the indestructible alloy.

Do you think that the Hugh Jackman tries to use the adamantium claws of his Marvel avatar when getting mad at people? Maybe he does unconsciously! I know I would (maybe I do already…).

The action movie Taken, directed by Pierre Morel based on a script by Luc Besson and starring Liam Neeson in the lead role, is opening this Friday 30th. Take a look to this final trailer of Taken:

The fact that a Rambo 5 is under negotiation is nothing new. But it is nice to have a direct confirmation from Sylvester Stallone himself. He broke the news on Extra, an entertainment magazine owned by Warner Bros, that a Rambo V movie is indeed ahead:

So we may expect a Rambo 5 movie in two or three years from now. No need to worry about Sly, he is still kicking and alive: just look a this picture of Stallone at 62 years old! He is incredibly fit for his age!

So let’s pray that filming of Rambo V will kick start soon!

Walt Disney Pictures has enrolled Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, to take care of two young aliens in the upcoming sci-fi adventure movie Race To Witch Mountain. To avoid being crushed or ignored in the cluster of movie trailers that will be shown during the Super Bowl 2009, Disney has opted for an early start of its Superbowl trailer of Race to Witch Mountain:

Some may think that race to Witch Mountain is a sci-fi movie for teens but I do wait for this movie with impatience!

Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions have acquired U.S. rights to the sci-fi animated movie Terra. The movie, which seems to be retitled Battle for Terra, will be released on May 1.

Despite many awards the film took time to get a theatrical release: it’s probably because most distribution companies were too lazy to try to find an original way to market Battle for Terra. It’s an animated movie, but real issues are raised, and in Battle for Terra the world isn’t black or white: it’s a mix of both like in real life.

“Mala (Evan Rachel Wood) is a precocious girl living on the beautiful planet Terra, a place where peace and tolerance are celebrated. When the Earthlings embark on a hostile invasion of Terra, Mala’s father, Roven (Dennis Quaid), is kidnapped. Inglourious Basterds is the correctly misspelled title of Quentin Tarantino‘s latest movie. The film is inspired by the 1978 movie Inglorious Bastards. Brad Pitt and Melanie Laurent have the lead roles in a very large cast. Quentin Tarantino is working hard in order to premiere the film at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2009, but the official U.S. release is on August 21, 2009.

This Storm Shadow just looks like John Preston (played by Christian Bale) in the sci-fi movie Equilibrium: his outfit is all white! It would have been better if they had kept the red cobra on the outfit:

The movie New in Town, directed by Jonas Elmer, is set in New Ulm, Minnesota. Renée Zellweger, who just moved in the country town, is going to overcome her prejudices of city dweller, and will learn to appreciate the small city besides falling in love with and Harry Connick Jr., a local chap.
