You Don’t Mess With The Zoha is an upcoming comedy starring Adam Sandler. The story centers on the story of an Israeli spy who wants to leave his country for New York in order to work as hair stylist.

The Spirit, aka Will Eisner’s The Spirit, is an upcoming film adaptation based on the comic of the same name created by Will Eisner.
The movie is directed by Frank Miller and stars Gabriel Macht as The Spirit and Samuel L. Jackson as his nemesis, The Octopus. The Spirit is slated for a January 2009 release.

The Hollywood cinema adaptation of Akira that should be released in 2009 is said to be closer to the Japanese manga than the animated movie.But well, they’re relocating the story to New Manhattan, a city rebuilt with Japanese money following an horrible explosion in a not-so-distant future…. The purist can but feel dizzy…

Anyway let’s wish that this Akira adaptation will beat least as kickass as the 1988 Japanese animated movie!
