Unwind Movie

Unwind MovieCheck out the official plot synopsis of Unwind, the upcoming action science-fiction movie directed by Roger Avary based on the novel by Neal Shusterman and starring Ian Nelson, Kiernan Shipka, Percy Hynes White, Bill Paxton, and Jay Baruchel:

Plot synopsis:
“Based on Neal Shusterman’s award-winning and best-selling series, UNWIND imagines a cruel dystopian world in which by the time you turn eighteen, you either become a functioning cog in the machine of a brainwashed society, or you are ‘unwound’. That is, your body will be taken apart, piece by piece, and given to more fortunate citizens the government determines to be more suitable.
Connor (Ian Nelson), Risa (Kiernan Shipka), and Lev (Percy Hynes White) are three teenagers determined to rage against the machine. Their desire for freedom and self-determination is greater than their fear of authority and unwinding. Through their harrowing journey our three heroes will stop at nothing to stay whole, even if it means starting a revolution.”

Do you believe in self-dertmination? Or do you think you’re just a pawn in the hands of God or some other force/entity?

What is Remote Viewing? It is a concept that involves ‘seeing’ a distant target through Extra Sensory Perception; but in the case of this horror film, it means viewing things through the eyes of a human puppet—a slave to a grand master. Who is the master? What nightmarish experiments could result in such a creature….and what might it do with its power? Worse still, what further monstrous creations might such an experiment produce? Not only will you see, you will be shocked.

Dark Night Movie Trailer

Dark Night MovieCheck out the first official trailer of DarkNight, the upcoming drama movie written and directed by Tim Sutton and starring Robert Jumper, Anna Rose Hopkins, and Karina Macias:

DARK NIGHT
Plot synopsis:
“A haunting, artfully understated critique of American gun culture, Tim Sutton’s third feature is loosely based around the 2012 massacre in Aurora, Colorado that took place during a multiplex screening of “The Dark Knight Rises.” Employing a mesmerizing documentary-style technique and a cast of non-professional actors, DARK NIGHT follows the activities of six strangers over the course of one day, from sunrise to midnight, the shooter among them.
Shot in Sarasota, Florida and lensed by veteran French DP Helene Louvart (PINA, THE BEACHES OF AGNES), the dream-like visuals articulate both Sutton’s carefully crafted landscapes and the characters’ sense of alienation and suburban malaise. Winner of the Lanterna Magica Award at the Venice Film Festival following its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, DARK NIGHT is essential viewing, not only for art-house filmgoers, but for anyone invested in the debate over gun violence in America as well.”

Well, the trailer is depressingly good: the movie looks good, but damn there is so much sadness in that trailer! Anyway, do you think more stringent gun control would be a good thing?

Playmobil Movie

Playmobil MovieThere’s a playmobil animated movie ahead of us. Yep, the German toy line wants to make it to the big screen like its Danish competitor Lego. The film is titled “Playmobil: Robbers, Thieves & Rebels”. Director Lino DiSalvo is in charge of the project based on a script by Blaise Hemingway. A few words from the director:

Lino DisalvoI’ve learned most of my skills by growing up in the Disney system; I was very fortunate to work on films like ‘Tangled’ and ‘Frozen‘. I am thrilled at the prospect of developing the Playmobil film. As a father and a filmmaker, to create a film about your son’s favorite toy, what else do you want?

Director Lino DiSalvo

Plot details are still kept under wraps. But maybe you have a suggestion? Share your thoughts with us in the comments below!

The release date of the movie Playmobil is set to January 18, 2019.

Stay tuned with us for more details!

Two things am wondering about now:
– will the playmobil character from the movie get a nose job?
– and do you think we will ever get a Lego/Playmobil crossover movie? lol!
