There’s a Gears of War movie ahead of us. Universal Pictures is indeed developing a movie adaptation of the cult video game franchise. For those who don’t know Gears of War, it’s a third-person shooter video game franchise that focuses on a conflict between humanity, the subterranean reptilian hominids known as the Locust Horde, and their mutated counterparts, the Lambent & the Swarm.
