We’ve got our hands on the first official trailer of The Fits, the upcoming micro-budget drama movie written and directed by Ana Rose Holmer and starring Royalty Hightower, Alexis Neblett, Da’Sean Minor, Lauren Gibson, Makyla Burnam, and Inayah Rodgers:

THE FITS

A film by Anna Rose Holmer.

Plot synopsis:
“Toni (Royalty Hightower), a tomboyish boxer, lands a spot on an after-school drill team in the West End community of Cincinnati. She eagerly absorbs routines, masters drills, and even pierces her own ears to fit in. It’s the joy of her first friendships and her discovery of dance. Shortly after Toni joins the team, most of the girls on the team suffer from episodes of fainting, swooning, and shaking in a seemingly uncontrollable catharsis. Nobody can explain the mysterious outbreak. These fits soon transform into a rite of passage as the trauma draws the other girls closer together. Caught between her need for control and her desire for acceptance, Toni must decide how far she will go to embody her new ideals.”

There’s something ominous about the music and the way the trailer is cut… Let’s hope nothing bad will happen to Toni!

IN A VALLEY OF VIOLENCE

A man can only take so much.

Plot synopsis:
“A mysterious drifter named Paul (Ethan Hawke) and his dog Abbie (Jumpy) make their way towards Mexico through the barren desert of the old west. In an attempt to shorten their journey they cut through the center of a large valley – landing themselves in the forgotten town of Denton – a place now dubbed by locals as a ‘valley of violence’. The once popular mining town is nearly abandoned, and controlled by a brash group of misfits and nitwits – chief among them, the seemingly untouchable, Gilly (James Ransone) who is the troublemaking son of the town’s unforgiving Marshal (John Travolta). As tensions rise between Paul and Gilly, Denton’s remaining residents bear witness to an inevitable act of violence that starts a disastrous chain reaction, infecting the petty lives of all involved and quickly drags the whole town into the bloody crosshairs of revenge. Mary-Anne (Taissa Farmiga) and Ellen (Karen Gillan), two bickering sisters who run the town’s only hotel, try to find the good in both men, while desperately searching for their own salvation. Only the world-weary Marshal struggles to stop the violent hysteria, but after a gruesome discovery about Paul’s past… there is no stopping the escalation.”

Sooner or later peace will prevail, but right now it’s time for violence: go get your old gun, and get ready to fight western style!

The film will be released in theaters sometime this Fall.

A Storm in the Stars Movie

Here’s a first look at Elle Fanning and Douglas Booth in A Storm in the Stars, the upcoming biography romantic drama movie directed by Haifaa Al-Mansour based on a script by Conor McPherson and Emma Jensen and starring Elle Fanning, Douglas Booth, Bel Powley, and Tom Sturridge:

(Click on the picture to enlarge.)

Plot synopsis:
“Mary (Elle Fanning) is a rebellious and outspoken teenager. When she meets the poet Percy Shelley (Douglas Booth), there’s a spark of attraction between the two outsiders who feel trapped within polite society. Percy is contrary and selfish, talking of sexual freedom and progressive ideas that are beyond the boundaries of their age. For sheltered Mary, it’s love at first sight.
When Mary’s family discover that Percy is married with a child, they forbid any further contact. Mary and Percy elope, taking Mary’s half-sister Claire (Bel Powley) along for the ride. It’s a scandal, and with Percy’s philandering ways, rumours of a ménage à trois are whispered everywhere they go. Claire willfully flirts her way into Lord Byron (Tom Sturridge)’s affections and Mary is relieved when they are asked to join the decadent poet at his house in Lake Geneva. It’s a chance to escape the gossip-mongering and restrictions of England.
During one stormy summer night, to distract Mary from Percy’s infidelities, Lord Byron suggests they all write a ghost story. All the pain and guilt that Mary feels about Percy, Claire and the child she lost, is poured into giving birth to Frankenstein’s Monster. The story is incredible, a classic that even Percy must acknowledge. But women don’t write books, and publishers certainly won’t print them. The rebel rises, and Mary fights for her creature and her identity, all at the age of eighteen.”

I didn’t know about Marry Shelley’s life… From the plot synopsis it sounds like she was a strong woman.

Anyway, Elle Fanning and Douglas Booth sure look cute together. Let’s hope the movie won’t disappoint!

The film has yet to get an official release date.

Anyway, stay tuned with us for more details about the movie A Storm in the Stars

The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps, one led by Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.)’s surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability.”

This film is kind of bogus.. Team Iron man can boats really marvelous superheroes. They couldn’t be defeated by the whiners from Team Captain America….
