Zootopia Movie – Zootropolis

Zootopia - ZootropolisZootopia, the upcoming CG adventure animated movie from Disney, is actually titled Zootropolis is the U.K., check out this new international trailer:

DISNEY’S ZOOTOPIA

Welcome to Zootopia where one smooth fox has one sly plan.

But he has one big problem!

From the creators of Frozen and Big Hero 6.

Get ready to unleash your wild side!

Plot synopsis:
“The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when optimistic Officer Judy Hopps arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist fox, Nick Wilde, to solve the mystery. ”

The U.S. title “Zootopia” is a portmanteau word blending Zoo and utopia, and “Zootropolis” the U.K. title is a portmanteau blending Zoo and metropolis (city). I guess they don’t believe in utopia anymore in Europe… So they changed the title over there.

The film will hit theaters on March 4, 2016.

Fifty Shades Darker Movie – Kim Basinger is Elena Lincoln!

Actress Kim Basinger (pictured below) is joining the cast of Fifty Shades Darker, the upcoming movie sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey!

Kim Basinger - Fifty Shades Darker

She will play the role of Elena Lincoln, Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan)’s Business partner and former lover.

Of course Elena isn’t too happy about Mr. Grey’s relationship with Anastasia (Dakota Johnson).

Plot synopsis:
“Daunted by the singular tastes and dark secrets of the handsome, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle Independent Publishing House (SIP); but desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist. They rekindle their searing love affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven and demanding Fifty Shades.
While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women (Kim Basinger) who came before her, and make the most important decision of her life.”

Actress Kim Basinger is 62 years old according to Wikipedia… I guess the movie producers want to reach older women…

What do you think? Is Kim Basinger fit for the role? or too old?

The film will open in theaters on February 17, 2017.

2 Clips of Zootopia

Disney's ZootopiaWe’ve got our hands on two new funny preview clips of Zootopia, the upcoming CG adventure animated movie directed by Byron Howard, Rich Moore, and Jared Bush for Disney:

Zootopia – Fur of a skunk.

Zootopia – Elephant in the Room.
Plot synopsis:
“In the animal city of Zootopia, a fast-talking fox who’s trying to make it big goes on the run when he’s framed for a crime he didn’t commit. Zootopia’s top cop, a self-righteous rabbit, is hot on his tail, but when both become targets of a conspiracy, they’re forced to team up and discover even natural enemies can become best friends.”

Would you address the elephant in the room? Or or would you rather bury your head in the sand like an ostrich?

Release date: March 4, 2016.

Note: the common legend that ostriches bury their heads in the sand to avoid danger is actually false, they don’t!
