The third chapter in the Insidious horror movie franchise $112 million worldwide for a mere $10 million budget. So you can bet there’s going to be a fourth installment. Do get ready for Insidious 4! Actually Leigh Whannell, who directed the third film and also served as the screenwriter for all three films so far, already hinted at what direction Insidious 4 could go in:

“I think an interesting thing would be to follow Elise, Specs and Tucker from the end of the third film. See what their next adventure would be. Remain in that prequel world. That’s just me – a lot of people will send me Tweets saying ‘What happened at the end of the second one – we need to find out.’ But I actually think the other direction would be more interesting – to see where Elise and Specs and Tucker would go with their adventures.”

I’ve just spotted the first official pictures of Money Monsters, the upcoming drama thriller movie directed by Jodie Foster and starring George Clooney, Jack O’Connell, Dominic West, Julia Roberts, Caitriona Balfe, Giancarlo Esposito, Emily Meade, Condola Rashad, and Olivia Luccardi:

Plot synopsis:
“Lee Gates (George Clooney) is a TV personality whose insider tips have made him the money guru of Wall Street. When Kyle (Jack O’Connell) loses all of his family’s money on a bad tip, he holds Lee and his entire show hostage on air threatening to kill Lee if he does not get the stock up 24 and a half points before the bell. Ratings soar as the entire country tunes in to this media frenzy to find out just how much a man’s life is worth. Meanwhile, the hostage situation sheds light on a possible scandal involving the company in question. Money Monster is a very timely piece in these economic times.”

Well Kyle is just looking for a scapegoat… Money doesn’t grow on trees, he better starts working hard again instead of taking people hostage!

Fortunately the chap on this picture, Moses Washington (played by Mahershala Ali), did manage to escape and I hope his new met friends will help him get rid of it.

Ben Affleck and Anna kendrick are crunching numbers on this new picture of The Accountant, the upcoming drama thriller movie directed by Gavin O’Connor:

This new picture of Finding Dory, the upcoming animated adventure family movie sequel to Finding Nemo, is introducing Bailey the beluga whale and Destiny the whale shark:

Plot synopsis:
“Set six months after the first film ends, Finding Dory sees the forgetful blue tang (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) on a mission to find her long-lost parents. Along the way, she visits the rehabilitation center at marine life facility where she meets the snub-nosed beluga whale Bailey (voiced by Ty Burrell) and his pal Destiny, a sweet whale shark (voiced by Kaitlin Olson).”

They didn’t respect real-life proportions: a beluga whale or a whale shark are way bigger than a tang fish. But it makes animation more fluid and easier to follow I guess.
