While I can recognize they did a hell of a job here, I don’t really get why they just didn’t use CG animation for this particular movie….

Dark Crimes Movie starring Jim Carrey

We’ve got our hands on the first official pictures of Dark Crimes, the upcoming crime drama thriller movie directed by Alexandros Avranas based on a script by Jeremy Brock and starring Jim Carrey:

Plot synopsis:
“A murder investigation of a slain business man turns to clues found in an author’s book about an eerily similar crime. Based on 2008 New Yorker article by David Grann.”

Jim Carrey’s beard looks clean, doesn’t it?

Besides Jim Carrey, the cast also includes Agata Kulesza, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Aki Kaurismaki, Kati Outinen, Zbigniew Zamachowski, and Marton Csokas.

The film should be released sometime in 2016.
